I agree with what you are saying. I don’t have a military background and I am too old to change that. I do think that I am preobably a little more prepared than your average Joe with a carry permit.

I shot with Taran before and he is fat and fast! A lot of the matches have been adding a physical element where you might have to sling your rifle and drag a weighted sled by a chain across a field before the coarse of fire (for example). You should see some of those guys. I have actually seen pro shooters see the match and just go home. They don’t want their point affected.

I am the guy who loves to shoot all day in the cold with gloves on or in the pouring rain. Oh, and we get to shoot out of cars too which takes practice.

See I love that type of competition. A workout with gun play.

If I go out and spend too much money, I will have to go back to work. I love my hobbies though and they are all expensive. I have to set a budget and stick to it like I am living off of social security.
