Oh they definitely are light years ahead in skill now. Tito Ortiz vs Ken shamrock proved that without a doubt. Passing of the torch so to speak and they have only gotten better and better. The old UFC was just more fun to watch.

Floyd's team set up Marquez bad in that fight. Made Marquez come up a weight class or pay a hefty fine. He was not as conditioned as normal and it showed. Even Floyd couldnt make the weight, he just paid the fine. I think floyd still would have won the fight regardless but not have picked him apart so bad. Floyd played a lot of games like this with catch weights and what not later in his career.

Every Floyd fight was tilted in some way. I promise
