Lol I remember no ac in dads first truck. I think it was a 78 gmc coe. Had push out vents on the door by your feet. Both windows down and no power steering. I didn’t care I just wanted to ride.

I absolutely hated getting up early to go anywhere but my dad would come in my room 1 time and 1 time only and say “boy you coming with me?” It was like a shotgun went off. I was up teeth brushed and sitting on the couch ready to go. Sometimes he’d tell me “go out there and fire that bitch up!” To this day I absolutely love the sound of a semi running and the smell of diesel burning.

All the memories of truck stops, waitresses, gravel parking lots, rest areas (he got so mad when i had to poop, jug in the cab for me to piss in)....great fucking times. I saw snow ice cream in colorado and lemonade in arizona....back to back.

My father used to run a tuna boat when I was a kid, had to work on it during the summers. If we had to piss it was over the side, if we had to shit it was a bucket or get in the water. Finally he bought a bigger boat with an actual shitter.

Wish it was. I love the look of that one. I had an 04 RSV 1000 Factory for a track bike. Rode the tracks here in California for four years. Around the end of that four years my son was born and my priorities changed. Now that he's getting older I'd love to get another one for the track. The new RSV V4s are incredible machines.

My actual father used to use a harpoon, it was pretty crazy chasing huge blue fin tunas as a little kid. My job on the boat was to chum the water.
