Give alternating tren and an oral deep into your bulking cycle a try.

Run your normal 8-10 weeks of bulking drugs. Then add a couple weeks of tren followed by a couple weeks of orals, rinse and repeat.

Basically, use the tren and/or oral as a means to push past late cycle plateaus.

I like the looks of this. Mac, what does your hdl/ldl look like? The main reason I don’t run Tren is because I am over 40 and don’t wanna totally thrash my lipid profile.

I'm sure I will get flamed, but fuck it. IMO 3-4lbs of lean muscle gain per year is putting in work. Strength can be obtained much faster, as well as fat loss. Keep this mentality up for a while and you will notice the difference. It's a marathon...

Unfortunately as soon as you have an injury that puts you out for several months, that strength is all going to disappear and it’s going to take a very long time to regain it. Strength is a central nervous system adaptation which is why some small people are absurdly strong and other larger people are not.

My central nervous system is trash . Only time I ever got strong was during first test cycle where all I did was eat. Became a bulky fat fuck.

You don't have to tell me, had distal clavicle resection on my left shoulder in November. Still deadlifting and squatting well, bench press I won't even touch yet, just light stuff anyhow.

Strength is also a connective tissue adaptation and muscular adaptation. Not just CNS. That post was more geared towards you aren't going to put on 20 pounds of muscle as fast as you think. It actually takes years to do correctly.

You have to learn how to rest and recover your CNS, this takes a ton of self control...because you have to lift light as well...or sometimes not at all. You also have to space things like deads and squats a fair distance apart.

Either way, I’m a bodybuilder and strength means jack shit to me. I’ve had a lot of injuries throughout the years too, none of them from working out but all of them put me out of the gym for significant periods of time.

So what do you think are some symptoms that someone could be aware of if their CNS needs a break?
Systemic fatigue. Sleepiness/sluggishness (or even sometimes insomnia). Lack of appetite. General cloudiness. Inability to recover. Loss of strength.

Most guys will never touch this. You’ll quit a set/workout or fatigue muscles way faster than your CNS.

Don’t read this like WebMD. Please.

You don't think most guys do? I train at a powerlifting style gym, so maybe I am surrounded by more people that would or could wear down their CNS. I still beleive this to play a roll in a bb style lifter also, especially one that trains with serious intensity.

I have learned that my body requires more rest..everyone is different also..there is no fixed guideline to any of this shit.

Is this the same thing as adrenal fatigue, or is that something completely different?

In college I spent 4 hours every single day in the gym and continued to make consistent progress. Overtraining in regards to bodybuilding is bullshit. If we’re talking about endurance athletes, that’s another story. The human body is capable of adapting to nearly everything you can throw at it.

Can you quote where over training came out of my finger tips? I trained 7 days a week for along time..also carried this same attitude. Goals and age will dictate recovery processes. Like I said everyone is different, I am glad you could train for 4 hours every day when you were 20 and still progress. I think you deserve a subway cookie.
