I’ve got some general scope practices I follow
100$ < I go bushnell banner, usually 70$ on sale

200$ < usually Nikon prostaff.

Anything over it really starts getting more difficult. Big Fan of vortex scopes. 250-300 you can get a great piece of glass with a no bullshit lifetime warranty.

*i have personally used vortex warranty. Scope did not mess up on its own, 100% human vault and it was still covered.

Vortex makes nice stuff. Never had to use their warranty.

I’ve ran them on almost all my hunting rifles. Few exceptions being a couple Leupolds, Burris, and my long distance scopes.

I had a vortex on a rifle that somehow got flung off a cliff. Must have landed on a rock just right and shattered the glass.

If you want to drop $1200 on an Optic ACOG is the finest Combat Optic made. No other has its Combat record, not even close. Either PSA or Primary Arms had the MRO on sale for $350 not too long ago, the MRO is what I use on my SBR.

Acogs are badass and can take abuse. I just put a trijicon 4.5x30x56 FFP on my Larue AR 10. Not a cheap set up but fun to shoot long range.

Awesome for just a red dot and it’s made by Trijicon, that company is near and dear to my heart(literally) The only negative is the brightness/on off knob is very stiff. Not a bad thing but I have to have something to complain about
