What would be the point of circumventing your doc and insurance to order the labs but them be sent to your doctor...

The lab just knows it’s your doctor, whether a pcp or whoever. If they signed your lab auth, they’re your doctor. Just like in the hospital. Dr. Smith is my doctor treating me, doesn’t make them my pcp just my attending physician.

@iceman440 most of the tests want you fasting at least 12 hours. I’m assuming you want testosterone tests so you should be doing it first thing in the morning. Biotin can also wreak havoc on some of the tests so it’s recommend to stay off it for at least 72 hours prior to pull.

@iceman440 the lab is going to send the results to the doctor that works for the company you ordered from. When you get blood drawn and they say the results will be sent to your doc in a week just smile and nod. Your doc is whoever works for privatelabsmd and signed your paperwork.
They absolutely do not share your info to your PCP.

If they sent my 2500ng/dL result to my doctor, then I’d have been kicked off TRT a long time ago.

Actually, they sent my results to PMD who then emailed me and told me my results were in.
Already done and home lol

I have been pulling bloods every 4-6 weeks lately and they are taking about 3 business days on average from LabCorp via PrivateMDLabs.
I was getting them in 2 days, then the last one took 5 business days.
