The first thing you do with a c6 is throw a set of heads on it and a cam in it..... :)
Then 10k miles remove the heads again because the guides are out of tolerance, Yet again. Lol. Seen way to many aftermarket heads wear out the same way. if you do a search you’ll see what I’m steppin into.

Oh I know the mess you are stepping in. I have heard west coast cylinder heads has this issue fixed, along with some others. What heads where on yours? My buddy has a set being put on his car right as we speak.

American heritage performance. Milled .020, titanium retainers, btr springs, measured the pushrods myself using the comp cams pushrod checker, hollow stainless ferrea exhaust valves, ported exhaust ports, moldstar 90 Guides, no cats, along with a porter manifold. Put down 509 on a mustang dyno. I built
It from scratch and did all the work myself

I have been the only one to touch this car of mine, even mounted the fucking tires.

How did the car run? Times? What cam?

The car ran like animal. No cam and it put down 509rwhp. It only weighed 3100. Any equivalent car needed 600 plus Rwhp to keep up. I didn’t put a cam because it was my daily at the time lol. I did all the work on the weekend. Wrenched day and night. I’m familiar with the 427 LS7 engine pretty well. Thoroughly enjoyed the Z and I’ll more likely get another when I have money to toss. They are truly badass fast machines.

So I'm working from the home office again today and I wandered into the homebrew section like a dumbass so I'm not cooking any of the food I need to right now.

Also pinned .67ml of test E MCT last night and noticeable pip but no huge knot like the T400MCT left, I'll see how it progresses.

The 2018 are fffffffing sext as fuc. But for 65-70k got damn. If we are talking the same car. CTSV

That is what I was assuming.

While my old car was fast as fuck, it was a junkyard build for its first half of life. So I probably 12k in that car total lol.

Our we back on track in here? I have a lot to say following the @iceman440 event...are we as a whole behind this? @Mac11wildcat @Kim @mp46 @Urgentfury12 @ everyone in here...

Anyway, finally got my 20x6 front runners I have been waiting on..Also got the tune dialed in 100 percent with a log-able wide band.

Have a tune with even more timing in it, but I am fighting ait2 temps(blower side) Needing to upgrade the heat exchanger pump to push water twice as fast and maybe a small aux ice tank for the HX. This thing is seriously hurting feels with a stock cam, untouched heads, no blower porting and not all that much boost. (14lbs) Don't have any interior shots, but this has factory recaros and soft touch inserts on alot of it, with alcantra suede.

This winter, the build will continue.

Back on track ? Are you asking if I support this double standard shit ? I think you know the answer to that.
