Too much for what?

I've drunk so much in a day It's induced visual anomalies. Typically over 48 oz. For me, that's too much.

Anyway, provided it's paper filtered, and you're not loading it up with cream and sugar, you're not going to hurt yourself with coffee. To the contrary, it's likely to benefit your health.

Non-paper filtered coffee like espresso or french press can become an issue and cause your lipids to skyrocket.

Didnt know that about presses...used to use one, then got lazy and went to a drip.

Once you have a tolerance......as much as you want. But once you have a tolerance like that you're only stressing your body out with cortisol and you turn fogheaded and burnt out.

The best thing I did was stop coffee and caffeine for awhile and then reintroduce it later and wow was it effective. You can move mountains with no caffeine tolerance.

If you truly like coffee, and don’t need it for the caffeine, there is a wildly convenient solution to your dilemma:

Decaf coffee.

I drink anywhere from 1-2 pots a day. Blood pressure is, and always has been, fine. Doesn’t affect my sleep, and sometimes I feel jealous when someone comments about it keeping them awake. I like the taste and the ritual behind a hot cup of coffee, but it doesn’t contribute positively or negatively to my state of consciousness.

It's always like that. Same with aclohol. You need to up the dose to get the similar effect once your body gets used to it. You have to control it with your willpower or otherwise it's gonna be coffee + energy drinks soon. Trust me, been there done that. Stimulants hit dopamine real quick and it's pleasure and addictive at the same time.

I think as long as you can sleep normally then you can have as much as you want. I used to drink 5+ cups a day and only stopped when I was pregnant/nursing. Now I drink 1-2 cups because I cant fall asleep if I drink coffee too late.

I love coffee but I become insanely sensitive to it during blast. I can’t have any coffee at all without getting terrible heart palpitations even if I had coffee 12 hours before bed time. As soon as I get back on cruise it’s all good.
