Total test vs free test

A question over all dose it matter where you need your free test to be at
Like for example what happen if someone have higher total test but low free test or that’s no possible ?

Free test is usually quite crudely calculated through an algorithm from many pathology providers.

Obviously free test relative to total test will be dependent on variables (shbg for example)

There's no ratio or specific numbers to be aiming for, generally speaking as one goes up so will the other.

Was there something specific about the numbers you wanted to know?

Not really just wanted to know for example would the free test being low can cause any side effects or it don’t matter

High total test and low free test is most commonly because of elevated shbg. There's other causes, but that's the most common one.

High shbg causes symptoms like low libido, erectile dysfunction, fatigue, and brain fog. That's just to list a few and not to mention the high e2 which in turn causes higher fat storage leading to higher levels and resulting in a cascading effect.

This seems more like asking for a solution than trying to learn. Is that what you're experiencing? If so, you need to provide more detail.

In short, managing your estradiol would help in lowering shbg. Mast is one of those things. It's better to provide a clearer picture to provide a better response.
