Training in the morning

I recently switched from working out in the afternoon to working out in the morning. What a difference. I dont feel rushed, and I am at my freshest first thing in the morning. It definetly takes some getting used to, and a strong stomach to slam a protien shake, a bananna and a pre work out t 4am, but its the shit. Definetly worth trying if your in a rut.
 
IM with you on that. Can't eat first though, but have plenty of energy....quiet gym, sun rising, music pumping, pure bliss. Great when I am working out twice per day as well.
 
Yup I'm a morning guy too. Wake at 3:45 and hitting weights by 4.30. I do all my breakfast and shake preps the night before.

How do you fight morning wood though? I usually deadlift with my donger to calm things down in boxer town ....

Really depends on if you're a morning person or get up early for work. Personally love hitting the gym at the crack of dawn. It's the best way to start your day and you know most sissy's are still hugging their pillow :D
 
Gotta just bang one out real quick unless your holding out to preserve your test levels.

Mate, that's an amazing idea. At my gym tomorrow, I have these sexy Olympic plates with a metal cone ... Wonder if I can get the sexy on with those ... They can't talk so it's not rape right ....
