Training intensity post cycle?

I'm running my first cycle. Obviously wanting to keep all or as much of the gains as I can.

I'm also working through some nagging injuries that need some rest at some point to start to heal.

I often hear that you need to maintain the and training to maintain the gained muscle. Is this mostly true?

Post cycle if I keep did where it is, is it reasonable to let's say cut training volume in half. 6 day to 3 day or maybe 4. And keep most the gains?

Thanks

Dance with the one who brought you. If you need a deload take a deload but I wouldn’t scale things back too much if you’re trying to retain as much as possible.

You won’t retain muscle beyond your natural limits without an artificially high anabolic/androgenic level.

If you want to retain as much as you can for as long as you can, train hard. And; Like another said, if your weights and volumes goes down, so will your muscle.

Reducing training volume by half is crazy lol. Reducing PEDS will already cause load and intensity to decrease, then cutting all work in half on top of the performance already sliding is a recipe for disaster.

Volume should stay basically the same, you will just notice that the RPE increases as strength decreases partially due to leverages from the water/nitrogen of the cycle being flushed out. From anecdotal evidence and personal experience I think you’re going to deal with some losses if you go from a lot of gear to none or even a little, especially if your training protocol is strength based.

I'm talking here about going from 500 mg a week to trt. The cutting training in half was more just something I threw out there. I just know that the injuries aren't going to go away if I don't take it easy. But I don't want to waste the gains so it is a balance for sure.

What's your TRT dose?

Try to work around your injuries instead of full time off. Isolation moves, slow negatives, lower rest in-between sets et.c.
