I was just wondering if anyone here has this problem..I have been dealing with this for nearly 2 years and it is so painful. The only advise I have been given is to rest the arm but as soon as I start to workout the pain comes back. If anyone here has any strength training or exercises I can do to alleviate this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

Been there done that 2 x 's in the past 5 years. It has to 100 % heal before you can get past it.Any exercise that hurts it you must avoid like the plague.Heavy brain crushers are what hurt mine. You could get cortisone shot but that just masks the pain and you will really hurt it.Find other tri exercises that do not hurt.Tendonitis is more serious than most realize and really hurts plus puts a damper on your work outs.PS..steroids will not help it..rest is what will heal..not what you wanted to hear I bet....:(

Shit i was hoping that there was something i could do to help the healing along...exercise wise but i guess not. how long did you have to rest the arm before it was tolerable to train hard again?

I always train hard..but when the tennis elbow first hit two years ago I tried to "work" through it..It freaking killed for 4 months..I got cortison shot and hurt it worse..then I finally got smart and laid off only exercises that hurt the elbow..mainly brains and heavy curls..It only took about 6 weeks off and they got better.Next time I hurt them I just laid off all exercise that hurt them and they healed in 4 weeks. There are so many other exercises you can do to work around the tennis elbow.I never go heavy anymore on brain crushers..or any exercise I feel hurting me in an unnatural way.If I am hurt upper body I usually take that time to pound the lower body
