TrenboloneTax: Hybrid Cycling / Lifting Log aka Make Hulk Bike Fast

This has come up in a lot of other discussions.

If you take the time on Reta (or any GLP1s) to fix diet/lifestyle, decreasing dose or coming off them altogether isn't going to make you lose the gains.

The drug helped bridge you while you got the other shit in order. Or something like that.
Im a bit confused. I am of the understanding that discontinuing a GLP1 means you are going to lose the direct benefit conferred by them.

My commentary was about being on more Reta when I was heavier (1.5 months ago) and having less suppression versus now on less Reta, with greater suppression.

And I’m certain the net effect is more suppression since my hunger hormones aren’t so fucked, DNP sky rocketed insulin sensitivity, and I’m not eating hyper palatable food multiple meals of the day.

So, I think I get what you’re saying, that you can still maintain most the benefit of what a GLP1 helps you do from a behavioral modification standpoint and therefore reap most of the metabolic benefits.

The part I’m interested in is ceteris paribus, what Reta can do for my BG, fasting insulin, and other markers since in normal circumstances I am eating at least 80% pre planned / clean meals

I fully agree with glps and changing habits. On tirz or reta if I eat a high fat meal I get nausea. Lean protein digests well. Fruits and vegetables tend to digest well but slowly. So basically glps forced me to eat a normal healthy diet of lean meat and vegetables. Now that I’ve lowered to 2 mg of reta a week from 10 this is just my new habit.

Also alcohol on glps always gives me insane heart burn. So it largely killed any urge to drink.

If we are talking from a fat guy standpoint sure, you could probably maintain what Glp1 had you achieve with diet and good lifestyle.

For what we use it... Stopping a Glp1 will have you lose the benefit of it

Insulin sensitivity, glucose control, reduction in inflammation and all those other benefits are dose substance dependent. You get it when you use it, you don't get it when you don't.

So we are more like a diabetic then an obese. Can't stop it if you wanna keep getting those weet baby jesus benefits :)

I can eat pretty high fat without issue. But I definitely notice issue if I’m coming from high carb lower fat meals straight into a high fat meal…gut has trouble dealing with the sudden change.

Fucking hate vegetables. Most of them bloat me and cause gas; gotta stick to lower FODMAP if I eat them (they’re for flavor as far as I’m concerned; I ain’t no rabbit I don’t eat grass).

Yea I might have one or two cocktails, glasses of wine or something if we go out to eat but no more than 2 drinks or that acid reflux gets me.

Have you ever considered combining reta with sema or tirz? Not getting much appetite reduction from 15mg anymore myself.
I initially added Reta to my tirz. I went from tirz, to tirz + Reta, to Reta solo.

Tirz physiologically prevents me from eating (stomach too stuffed gastric motility to slow) whereas Reta gives me more of a take it or leave it type of attitude. I will randomly fill up mid bite and it’s less of a forceful signal; more of a “wow you’re full now you don’t need to eat more” even though your stomach isn’t stuffed.

If you’re just looking for pure brute force appetite suppression, I would add sema to Reta before tirz to Reta. You’ll have to make a decision on whether you want to mix GLP1s or ride the dose higher solo with one of them.

thats huge cat mate. looks bit scary :D
Yeah he is lol but he's actually kinda scaredy cat. Funny goofy guy.

Once a month or so I'll hear an amazon driver / deliver (usually black), go like "WOAH shit; that's a big fucking cat jesus christ thing is fucking panther not a cat"

Cracks me up lol half of them take pictures cuz he usually is just straight chillin' on the porch most of the day.

So you dropped from 10mg a week to 2mg ? Any break in between ?
