whats better for anti-aging skin care routine
Tretinoin has a longer track record for "anti-aging" and is less harsh than tazarotene
Both are fine
ymmv
i used to use 0.05% tret (didnt feel anything) so i was gonna move up to 0.1% but it isnt sold in my country when i checked here i found out option to get tret or taza just not sure what should i go forI know tret’s supposed to be easier to tolerate, but taz was better for me. It made positive improvements faster than tret did.

im not looking to "feel" anything just wanna know which one i should get i understood taza is newer just not sure its betterWhat are you looking to "feel" with either?
You don't really feel a reduction in fine lines & aging spots (might not even see them either)
You might get some discomfort/redness with both the first few days
Taz is newer and stronger, so it will be harsher on your skin (especially so when starting) but will deliver results faster than tret the same way a higher % tret will be harsher and deliver faster than a lower % tret (0.025% vs 0.05% vs 0.1%)
All in all the end goal should be the same, it will just have different timelines so you should just stick to whatever your skin agrees with and be consistent and not try to go the fastest possible
Like PEDS when you think about it
This was my experience. Taz was way more gentle on my skin than tret ever was. It was so significantly better that when my son wanted to use a retinol, I had him use Taz. He had none of the negatives associated with beginning and was able to move to daily use quickly. It is newer but not necessary stronger and harsher.
It works differently and cannot be compared this way.
Tret is a machine gun that hits everything.
Taz is a sniper that hits specific targets.
I use 0.1% Taz. I did not like Tret -- I had more sides on a lower % Tret than higher % Taz.
