Tricep longhead. Try this and I think you'll agree.

I tried this last night it definitely worked even went pretty light so I could get the form down long heads of my tris are definitely sore and I will add this to my routine from now on thanks for sharing demonic

No problem however I must warn everyone that doing this exercise too often can really snap up your elbows. I got a little too excited and was doing this 2 and 3 times a week and I am now paying for it : ( I still love this combination I will prob do it only 3 or 4 times a month..

I picked up a super set that has hands down become my favorite super set of all times. It's pretty basic and brutally effective done right you'll know that you hit tri's right for a few days after I'm still sore... Go a little light which for me in 80lb easy curl bar lying down on bench and skull crushers the correct way squeeze and stretch those tris by bringing the bar behind your head not to your head. I hold the stretch for a few seconds on the last 3 reps. Immediately after having dumbells at the ready I use 30s to keep good form and do skull crushers lying down bringing the dumbells behind and to the sides of your head. I use the 15 reps for both dumbells and the bar and do four super sets of these. 1 min rest in-between. I've never experienced this kinda pain and I feel it all the way down the long head of my tricep which I have always struggled with. Make sure you have no rest when you switch from bar to dumbell or you won't get the intense burn!

I usually end my skull crusher sets by immediately going into close grip benches without ever putting down the bar. I get a pretty insane burn from that but, like anything, I've gotten used to it. Thanks for the new idea!

I've had trouble getting the long head to grow. Gonna try this though. I've done both exercises but never super set them. Thanks for the insight.

Great thread I've been looking for something like this! The long head is a lagging part for me, I really think this will help me target them better.

Would here be any benefit in throwing in over head cable extensions at the end or would that just be over kill?

If done right you will experience enough burn that I don't think you'll need them. Everybody is different you can try adding them into the mix and see what happens.

I've done this exercise a, few times now and it's always funny how the guy next to me or around me is peeping over at first like wth is he doing then after a few sets the look says hmmm I might have to try that shit
