Tried Tren for a bulk- possibly switching to NPP

Additionally still feeling fine. Here’s an update for today.

Sold some stuff off Facebook marketplace today. Been doing that as of late. Not a cycle update but I felt like mentioning that lol.

Smoking more unfortunately. Mood swings have been tougher too, I feel it might be from Lexapro. My friend had a similiar experience- she became volatile when starting, but smoothed out 2-3 weeks in. I feel bad though, I live with my grandmother and I end up taking a lot of my steam out on her. I feel guilty. It’s the type of guilt that makes me pussy out when I want to apologize to her too.

Gym motivation has been moderate too. I’m seeing some so-so strength increases but I’m not feeling the 19-nor magic from NPP yet. I would throw in an oral like Anavar since I have a ton on hand, but I already have a trillion external factors (weed, SSRI, other liver interacting meds) that I don’t want to have turn me into a human compounding pharmacy. Plus DHT’s make me shed. Ended up finding out with a vial of Mast that I’m never going to touch again.

I hope to see results from everything I’m doing soon- the NPP, Lexapro, everything; hope it pays off. I hate bulking mentally because of fat gain (I’m in my later years of college and value my appearance) but I see this as me really putting mass on my frame and fixing my mental along the way.

Dialing in my sleep as of late. I feel so much better off of Tren and will good sleep.

Getting night sweats ever since I added T3- causing a LITTLE bit of bacne, but it’s barely anything to me.

Unfortunately smoking to get myself through the day- I have work off this week. Feeling better however I’m still having mood swings.

Also feeling so-so in the gym. 420 NPP, 175 Test… Still waiting to really feel something from the NPP. Strength is going up but that’s a granted considering I’m bulking.

Another day, another dollar

Almost Christmas. Think I’m starting to notice my NPP- definitely looked wayyy more full in the gym today, Face is bloated too but I chalk that up to me increasing sodium as of late, my cut will make it all worth.

Less anxiety as of late, very happy to report that!

I could go for some advice.

Currently on:

5mg Tirz
175 Test Cyp
140 Test Prop
560 NPP
25mcg T3 for a euthyroid dose

But I’ve plateaued. My weight has been increasing but I haven’t been progressing weight session to session. I feel flat in the gym too.

I’m 6’2, 188lbs as of now and I walk around 8-10k steps daily. I always walk after my meals and my FBG is 80-95 usually.

3500 cals, 239g Protein, 474g Carbs, 72g Fat

I’m stuck on the same weight in the gym, feel like my pumps have been lackluster, and overall just can’t progress in the gym right now.

I’ll attach a photo of my recent weight- I’ve gained weight extremely quickly and I noticed myself looking puffier. I don’t feel the full muscle glycogen feeling that I did before T3.

Can anyone help me figure out what’s going on??? I’m mid cycle and unfortunately not progressing. PPL/PPL/R. 6 days training, one rest.

Dialing in sleep too. Getting 7 hours nightly. I’m just extremely upset because I’m getting puffier, not seeing much week-to-week in terms of physique changes, and I’ve plateaued on my weights. Any advice or help is appreciated. I don’t have much stress in my life as of currently either.

I feel so mid or “eh” in the gym too. Not much aggression but I attribute it to Lexapro.

I’m more worried about my flatness, since adding T3 I haven’t felt full in the gym but I feel great other than that. No lethargy during the day either. I just need advice :(

Really getting upset over my stall

I don’t think it’s justified to “up cals bro” with my recent weight increases. I’d probably just put more fat on. My normal maintenance is around 3,000 off a TDEE calculation. This is really upsetting me

That T3 could be tearing down any new muscle you're building. It's highly catabolic. I don't know if that dose would be high enough to have an effect.

Half the reason why steroids build muscle is because they lower your thyroid levels while increasing appetite.

Are you sticking with heavy compound movements like Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Row, Overhead Press and Power Clean? These are the best mass builders.

If you need programming advice the following books are great:
Starting Strength - Mark Rippetoe
Practical Programming - Mark Rippetoe and Andy Baker

There are also some older books like: PERIODIZATION: THEORY AND METHODOLOGY OF TRAINING 5TH EDITION

I always stick with the good old compounds. 1-2 compounds per lift then isolation work at the end.

I need to do more research with this T3, thank you for your reply once again, I’m gonna look into those :)

Yeah copy. I know powerlifters aren't very muscular but you have to kinda get strong first using the lower rep ranges then increase the volume.

So for example I used to only be able to bench 100kg for a few reps without a pause. Now I can do a long pause and 3 sets of 5. Technically the weight didn't go up but the difficulty did.

So you could progress from 3x3 to 3x5 to 3x8 or you could do pauses or make the eccentric slower.

My favourite split is to do a volume and intensity workout each week for each compound.

Bench Press and close grip bench press
Deadlift and stiff legged deadlifts
Low bar squat and high bar squat

For the intensity you start at 3x5 and progress until you can only do doubles then reset by 20%.

For the volume you do 3x8 and make sure you keep the volume up. Only increasing when you can hit 3x8 for every rep or 5x5.

You can run this type of split indefinitely.
