Edit: the upper reference range on the SHBG assay is really high.

I see that as a common ref range for shbg. My country uses a similar range in all it's labs. I do agree that around 50 is where it should be, but alas, having shbg at 50 isn't really clinically relevant yet. What's your opinion on shbg's range?

The lab i'm doing my bloods has a ref range from 14,5 to 94,6 nmol/lt

My apology, I should have stated age adjusted the range appeared high but perhaps a discrepancy on the immunoassay? Or could be simply a pooled ref range.

My recollection is that all the IAs line up pretty well for SHBG.


I'd like to look at all his numbers.
