TRT Joint pain

I have been on Trt for a month now and have been having joint/tendon pain...not sure which one. I am on 100mg test 250iu of hcg 2x/wk, and .25 arimidex 2x/wk. Getting labs rechecked next week.

All of my pain is mostly in my hip socket as I run regularly and weight lift. Tried to take a week off but it has not subsided. For 2 weeks ive been on msm, glucosamine, fish oil but prob need to be on it a few months to see benefits. Currently pushing plenty offfluids and have a pretty solid diet. Deca not an option as I am going through a Dr. Suggestions?

Stop the arimidex immediately.

If you are one of those that react poorly to arimidex, the joint pain frequently becomes very bad, and can take years to subside.

The literature indicates that by 18 months, 90% of those with AI-induced arthralgia will be pain free. For others it takes a bit longer. The bottom line, however, is simple: if you try arimidex, and get joint pain, then stop taking it immediately.

Adex should not be part of TRT. A reduction in SynT would be the better option. Truely if you are todays "lowT male" however, there is no amount of T that will help. Its actually your problem - which is why your body stopped making T in the first place. So drop the Adex, drop the SynT, and then drop the body fat..... AND YUR GOOD TO GO....;):p:)

"Ol Rasputin, oh dontcha cry fer meeee. Cas I come from Alabamee with a banjoHO on my neeee.....":drooling:

Typical throw in everything except the kitchen sink approach then we wonder why we end up with issues down the road.. You said the magic words "WHICH ONE?" if it was done properly from the start you would have known which one in the first place LOL.

Doncha just hate it when the OP wanders off especially after getting the answer to his question.

I hope for his sake he figures it out. AI-induced arthralgia can get very bad, very fast. And (unfortunately) the path back is often painfully slow...

Everyone is saying stop the ADEX. But most TRT docs put you on ADEX as part of most protocols. what the heck are we supposded to do? We cant be running around with high E2 numbers.

You're wrong about that --- most do not prescribe adex. And the solution is to use less T, and / or a preparation that has a longer half life.

But even if there was no solution other than adex for lowering E2, adex would still be contraindicated for those in whom it causes joint pain. You'd instinctively know this already if you were one of these people, because you'd know firsthand just how terrible this side effect can become...

thanks for all the responses...the OP was on vacation which is why I disappeared. But thanks for the kind words** I will dropthe adex and continue to recheck blood levels frquently and monitor joint pain.

What causes the stiff joints/muscles and back pain on trt. Also i got prostata pain for few days after shots..have to go lower i think. Is it high dht because someones says it comes with gels, i do get it with nebido also (no ai) and on my back i have long hair what i have never had before. Or could it be the missing hormones progestorone etc..? Any experts here with facts, because everybody has not theese stiffness problems, its quite few ??

Progesterone....the missing link?

Out of curiosity, is it the Adex itself that causes the joint pain or having too low E2 for too long?
