Trt numbers too high

Failed trt test


Hey bros!!! So I have a friend who is on trt and recently tested crazy high and his doc is telling him he needs a retest in a month! And I think it might be my fault so here is what his cycle was looking like before he got the call
2 years on trt
6weeks on test c 400mg
6weeks on eq 400mg

he got the call that he needed bloods and then all he took was 1 shot at 200mg test c a week after last shot of test/eq.... His blood was drawn a week after that last shot of 200mg test and his test levels were 2700!

Does this make since! What crosses my mind is that the eq I gave him might be test! And I don't want him to mess up another blood test with his doc! Any help here guys

He shouldnt of taken that last shot of 200. He most likely needs more time for his levels to go down before blood draw.

Thats test-C for you . Long ester . You gotta skip at least 1-2 weeks especially after a long test-c cycle before you get tested , then take your shot right after testing .

I did a 600mg/wk 12 week test-C cycle once , quit pinning 10 full days before testing and still had a 1190ng test level . TRT Doc almost cut me down on doses...

Another reason to do your own bloodwork. These doc appointments are usually made months in advance. If you're in the areas that offer the cheap testing, there is no reason for your test levels to be a surprise. You can always cancel/reset your appointment if you find you didn't stop soon enough.

This level should not be surprising. Bc pinning T-c at 600mg will yield a peak value (at 24-36 hrs later) of roughly 6k. Now since the half life of T-c is about 5 days, the expected level would be around 3K FIVE DAYS after the last pin, AND about 1500ng/dl TEN DAYS after the last pin.

So as you can see this value is right on target and should be expected.

Yes the value is definitely on the high side which should be around 1k at 5-7 days after the last pin. I suspect the difference may be the Bolo (if that's what EQ means) That's bc ALL AAS are protein bound (with variable degrees of affinity) to either SHBG or albumin, running any two AAS sequentially can alter the level of the other.

The net effect is an off loading of TT in exchange for EQ, thereby raising TT levels. (Based on a horse study EQ has a higher affinity for albumin than TT. Unfortunately the effects of EQ on SHBG/TT binding were not a part of the study.)

I went from 300 mg down to 100mg and waited 3weeks and I blew a very high score. I blamed the lab and went back 10 days later and things were back in range for my TRT.
