TRT patient purchasing Test Internationally Question

I'm confused on the legalities of this. I have a prescription for Test E through a doctor here in the United States for a testosterone deficiency. If he is already providing me a set amount of Test, is it legal for me to purchase additional test E online, and have it shipped here? Hopefully someone can help me out here, thanks!

It sounds like you have a duplicate prescription unknowingly by your physician. If this is the case, you need to alert him/her. Why do you want to purchase additional TE? Are you wanting to "double up" on the dose? There are more considerations, but the whole thing sounds underhanded, either illegal or close, and therefore wrong.

Where are you getting test E scribed in the US? Dont sound right. We use cyp here...

Anything else besides your current script is illegal. You can not double fill that script either. They check on that stuff, esp. when its a DEA controlled substance.

AND importing anything internationally that you don't have a script for is also illegal and to risky imo.

That was the eventual plan, but not one that I was thinking about doing immediately or anything since TRT is still quite new to me. Not to mention i'm not a fan of the sketchy international websites, i'm still working on looking for a more local source... I'm just in the research/information phase right now Thanks for the help!

U.S.federal and state law clearly state that it is technically illegal to buy anabolic steroids and import them from outside the United States. While there may be theoretical exceptions, the letter of the law prohibits such importation.

• Federal law prohibits the importation of an FDA-approved pharmaceuticals that is manufactured within the United States. (21 U.S.C. § 381(d)(1))
• Federal law prohibits the importation of pharmaceuticals that are not approved by the FDA. (21 U.S.C. § 355)
• Federal law prohibits the importation of an FDA-approved pharmaceutical produced by a foreign manufacturer that does not have FDA approval for that drug. (21 U.S.C. § 355)
• Federal law prohibits the importation of an FDA-approved pharmaceutical produced by a foreign manufacturer even when that firm has FDA approval if the version produced for foreign markets does not meet the various requirements of U.S. approval in all respects. (21 U.S.C. § 355)
• Federal law prohibits the importation of pharmaceuticals that do not meet all U.S. labelling requirements and bears FDA approved labelling. (21 U.S.C. § 353(b)(2)
• Federal law prohibits the importation of pharmaceuticals that are dispensed without a valid prescription. (21 U.S.C. § 353(b)(1))
• State law may prohibit the importation of pharmaceuticals if the pharmacy that ships the drugs to the consumer is not registered and/or licensed by the State.

It may be illegal to import Testosterone into the US but it is easy to do. It is also possible to manipulate the amount your doctor prescribes to your advantage, most easily done if you are on a transdermal gel so you control how much is used. If you take less than the prescribed amount for a week or so before a T test, your number should be lower and he will be inclined to increase the dose- at least within his idea of a reasonable amount.

I am not sure if any value could be added to one's life by raising a profile any higher than mine currently is in a public forum of such controversial matter. Clearly, we still sit over here talking as social villains that are allowed to meet secretly in their caves. Social winds change direction from time to time. Sometimes there are even hurricanes to deal with.

Perhaps Millard would just change my designation to "Translator"....
