TRT?

Hi guys, just looking for some advice. Been struggling with chronic fatigue for the past year. Went to the doctors and got my hormones tested. I'm sitting around 12-12.7 nmol over around 5 different tests at different points and free testosterone is 0.233. My GP and a endocrinologist I've seen have both said that these levels are fine and won't be causing any of my symptoms but when I look into trt clinics I'm told these are really low and most definitelyare causing my symptoms. Doctors have no idea why I'm so fatigued, brain fog, dizziness, lack of motivation and no appetite. They've just put it down to maybe a viral issue. I'm struggling with every day tasks atm, gym has gone out the window, work is a big struggle and I'm at a loss on what to do...

I'm tempted to get some test myself and self prescribe trt to see if this works. Question is would it be worth me doing this? And would test P be the better option to get it into my system ASAP to see if that is the issue, let's say 2-4 weeks test p eod to see if this elevates the symptoms. If it does then I would Bridge and swap to a longer ester, if it doesnt then run a pct and try find what else is going on?

Thanks in advance..

Get a proper and comprehensive blood panel, not just test levels. Things like thyroid, E2, Prolactine, SHBG, liver, kidney all of that. Should see TRT more like a lifetime commitment too

I've had them all tested along with cortisol etc. Everything is fine.

Don't try to reinvent the wheel by "trialing" TRT with Test-P.

Get yourself some Test-C, start around 125mg / wk, you should experience initial effects within 2 weeks, and the full impact after 6.

Check blood at that point, and decide if you want to increase the dose based on symptom relief and bloodwork. You can bring the results back here to get the feedback of experienced AAS users

You've got enough on your plate just getting accustomed to injecting yourself, if that's new to you, don't overcomplicate it.

I was just trying the "quicker" route as it's affecting my personal/work life majorly at this point.

Private TRT clinics are wanting around £150-£200 per month which seems alot. I have injected before so that shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for your reply.

No problem. Don't try to shortcut the process. Wildly swinging hormones won't do you any good or provide the instant results you seek.

You've suffered this long, doing it properly only takes a few weeks before you experience significant relief. If there was a better, faster path it would been put into use somewhere along the path of decades of TRT treatment and tens of millions of men being treated.

Impatient impulsiveness is a low-T characteristic, don't allow it to torpedo you now.

The question I'm wondering is, are my symptoms actually the result of low testosterone, as my endo seems to think my levels are fine for a 30 year old. Just trying not to waste anymore time so i can go back to being normal again

It'll either help or it won't. We are talking about a few weeks to get a hint as to whether it's working.

The reference range used to determine what's acceptable is an imperfect gauge.

There's nothing stopping you from concurrently pursuing other potential solutions while trying TRT if you're concerned a few weeks would waste time.

Why not try Enclo or HCG Monotherapy to check this before shutting yourself down for nothing?

I suppose i can try it for abit, if i feel like the symptoms remain then I can use it as a mini cycle and pct after..
Looks like you are in the UK I started my TRT journey with similar levels and issues to you.

My TRT provider is Manual, they charge less than you have been quoted, they started me on 80mg pw Test Sus.

I am transitioning to self managed TRT so I am now on UGL test cyp.

If I’m honest I haven’t found my energy levels to be transformed, but that might be disguised by the fact I’m on Tirz and cutting!

Don’t listen to these people. Test P is perfectly fine for trt and taking it eod will give you a decent variation 10-20% in daily test levels. Naturally you’ll have a 20-40% daily variation. I’d say take around 20-30mg eod and should g2g in 5-7 days. GL.
