Tru Niagen

Greetings all, I added true niagen NR to my supplements at about 900 mg a day, it's about day 6 and I noticed that I just feel a little bit different not a positive way and a little lethargic. Has anybody had any experience taking this supplement and had similar outcome?
I took this as alternative to NAD500 + there seems to be such a lot of positive hype about NAD so I wanted to try it.

I still have a couple of bottles of their product around here somewhere. Total of waste of money. I never experienced anything after taking a bottle and a half. Find you some quality NAD from one of the sources here and inject it.

Darn... and that's. $164 down the toilet.
I did do the injectable one, really lit me up in a good way. So much trial and error with vendors, I'm new to all this. I'll try Tyde or Sky ?

I fell for the hype myself back when Datbtrue's forum was around. He pushed it hard. Said he even bought a whole pallet of it so he could provide enough for his friends and family. This wasn't TruNiagen but one of the original NR supplements to be released.

But anyway, like other things, Dat happened to be full of shit about that, too. I myself blew way, way too much money keeping faith in his doctrine.

Never did a damn thing.

Oh one thing I do remember is at high doses (800mg+), lethargy would happen but eventually resolve... supposedly due to what I will call mitochrondrial turnover. Memory sucks, but I think I recall the general idea is it basically would fry defective mitochondria, setting the stage for new ones.

Well thank you for the response and I think that answers two questions, with one answer at high doses it does cause lethargy and yes I pissed away my money. Maybe I'll go back and try the injectable but honestly I've been using methylene blue and I get the same feeling as when I did the injection of nad+

I have chased so many mitochondrial supplements, with them really never having done anything, my mitochondria must not have any problems. It doesn't seem anything makes them better, but maybe it does help dysfunction if present. If you really want to waste some money, try Mito-Q. That was another I blew a few years' worth of supplement money.

I will admit my interest is piqued for injectable NAD. But I can also say I have tried oral NAD and NMN (even sublingual) with zero perceivable results.

Thanks for the input, I really hate getting jerked around and wasting money. I'm on the peptide bandwagon and hope that's not another waste of money..

I can recommend NMN, PQQ, Ubiquinol. On top of that, MOTS-C and injectable Carnitine.

Anti-Oxidants such as NAD (go with the buffered version), NAC and 5amino1mq help a lot.

I am using these daily as they significantly improve my lipids and insulin sensitivity.

Which ones do you take daily specifically? Are all of them?

Ubiquinol 200mg morning and evening
PQQ 100mg morning and evening
MOTS-C 1mg per day
600mg Carnitine with my Pre-Workout meal (needs insulin to be shuttled into tissue and gives great pumps)

NAC 250mg with every meal
NMN 200mg with every meal
5amino1mq 50mg with every meal

Running these for the past 2 months improved my HDL/LDL by about 16 points in total (reduced the bad and improved the good one) also lowered total Cholesterol.
Carnitin also pushed down your Triglycerides which is a good indicator for insulin resistance. Mine were at 108. After running 600mg daily they went down to 67 within 2 months.

I also had occasional Cardarine in there but that was just some leftovers, 12 pills each 10mg and only took one during my restdays where i have done Cardio only.

Done NAD only 3 times so far, helps really well with liver markers although it burns like hell so i discontinued it but will pick this back up once i found a source for buffered NAD.

Definitely noticed a great boost in endurance, strength and overall less fatigue. Can totally recommend running this forever although i would be careful with 5amino1mq as its often extremely in iodine and very expensive, thus i would only run this during a cut.

I've been adding Sodium Bicarb to the injections I've found too spicy. Even the buffered Glutathione kits I get from Korea can have a bite, so I add some bicarb and it smooths it out. MOTS-C is a different story. I tried adding bicarb to it and ended up what looked like a hot tub after a college party. I'm guessing it pulled it out of solution. I ended up just doubling the amount of bac water for it, and it was a lot better.

So riddle me this what can you say about the Mots C? Is it like a caffeinated feeling would you take it before you worked out does it make you nervous a little edgy does it happen all at once how long does it last?

I'm a bad one to talk about MOTS-C. I've gone through two kits but haven't noticed anything. The first kit I way under-dosed myself, using a 5mg three times per week protocol, and then switching to 5mg once a week. The second kit I started off under-dosing again but switched to 5mg a day. At one point I felt like it was helping, but I am pretty sure at this point it was just me regularly adapting. I'm on my second-to-last vial.. about to recon it right now for today's dose. I'll run out on Wednesday and don't plan on buying it again. Maybe I don't even have mitochondria and am some alien mutant.

Thanks for the follow-up, I feel like half of this stuff doesn't work, and wish it did what it says it's supposed to do. The peptides are the latest rage and are not much better than plain Jane vitamin supplements.
The only thing that works with 100% noticeable improvements is the test cyn.
If I wasn't 63 , I'd head over to the steroid world, seems like that time has past ?
I was thinking about getting up to speed with anavar, seems like a soft landing ?

I'm in agreement on that. I've tried hundreds of compounds, some pretty exotic. The only things that have consistently given me results are AAS, a comprehensive/clean diet, Creatine, Cialis/Tadalafil, and Neo40/Beet Root Powder. Oh.. and Tirzepatide. Most of the compounds have done nothing at best.. nothing with side effects at worst. And all have cost a lot of money. Not sure why my body seems so resistant. Maybe I'm healthy enough that many of these things simply don't really have application. Maybe along the way I somehow hit a magic combination that maximized my mitochondrial potential already, and I don't have any dysfunction. Things like Epitalon and Thymulin aren't really going to be "felt," and I'll never know if my annual cycles actually do anything. Nootropically, the only thing that had consistent, positive benefit without negatives was Piracetam.

I use Test P, Mast P, and Primo E at low doses daily and have for years. Anavar is a great compound and my favorite beyond my staple three. I also took Anavar year-round for a few years but got tired of lipids being skewed. I took off a while, and lipids went back to normal beautifully. Now I've fucked them up again with Accutane. Thank God I'm almost done with that.

Wow that's really great information and thank you for the time for posting that I can very much relate. I'm surprised to see you say that about the beetroot powder, because I always think it's not good enough cuz it's just beetroot powder and I have to go piss away money on something that's more exotic. I think I am going to try the anavar as all I see is good things about it but I have to educate myself I know nothing about it and I'm not aware of the cycling so I have to do some homework I'm sure there's a lot of information here about that. I think I'm just never happy with what I have and I'm always trying to improve on things I think that's just my nature, I like to optimize if I feel great now I want to feel greater if I feel greater I want to feel even more Elite and the cycle just keeps going it's ridiculous.

The other thing I wanted to add is it's ridiculous with all this crap I'll spend the king's Ransom on it just to find that I'm optimizing. I don't know without trying to sound arrogant I try to be elite and everything that I do and that's not easy and I don't mean that to sound the wrong way either it's probably inspired from some of my self-consciousness in humanity more than anything else

I know what you mean. I'm always trying to find that next edge, and I'm always looking ahead to that next experiment. Kind of getting tired of it, though, and so is my wallet. I feel like Neo40 works. I also feel like Beet Root Powder helps, but I hate drinking it. So the Neo40 is worth it to me, even if it is on a little on the pricier side of things. It contains a little more than Beet Root Powder, though.

I will say this 10 mg of methylene blue before my workout and I definitely have gained a five to 10% better workout I stopped taking pre-workout drinks when I started with the methylene blow even though I think the pre-workout drinks are worthless anyways. The neo40 looks pretty interesting I never even heard of it I started taking 5 mg of Cialis before I work out so if I took that then I don't have to take something like neo40 right?

Technically, I wouldn't think so. But I take Cialis (Tadalista Professional 20mg) pre-workout anyway. The Neo40 is just a daily, morning supplement. It has to build up over time like Creatine. I was taking Methylene Blue myself for a few weeks but didn't really feel anything from it. Built up to 10mg a day. Ended up scuttling it. Tastes horrible and stains even glass, so I would cap it in 000 capsules.
