Since covid, the flu, and most viruses are transferred through the lungs, nose, ears, and eyes then yes washing your hands absolutely helps prevent getting sick. Have someone with the flu cough on your hands and then go and pick your nose. You 100% get the flu.

Masks are a joke though. Unless it is form fitting and tight it isn’t really helping anyone.

Of course what you said would happen, have them cough on your hand and stick it up their nose. No one is going to go do that or seek out wuflu patients and have sex with them

There was a guy in front of me at 7/11 this morning. He was the only one wearing a mask that I saw, and the place was crowded. He was buying two Monster drinks, and he reeked of cigarettes. The "social" distancing I kept out of politeness didn't protect me from the smell.
