When the Dow hit close to 27thousand all orangething fans were cheering - as if they all owned not only stocks, but the ones performing . As if the stock market is a reflection of the economy. And as if they benefitted from it

I hear crickets now...

Hasn't fallen much yet, but it will and probably very soon. The question is whether it will fall far enough and soon enough to help the Dems next month. Stocks don't reflect the economy necessarily, but higher bond yields will sure do some damage, and the Fed is raising rates.
