Ok...can't let an opportunity to possibly get a better understanding on how things work when ordering international go by. Now, Eric, what led you to make a post that many would call "reckless"?
Specifically, your claim that a pkg you have coming that cleared Customs was "Seized" by your local US Post Office. Actually, there are a couple of things that you posted that I take issue with.
Most times when a member that is new to the world of purchasing aas online does something to piss off a source I'll take the opportunity to talk about how meso has an inordinate # of noobs and those noobs are who most sources are targetting.
These sources, being aware that they are selling to noobs should take the time to educate and train their customers. Doing so would be beneficial for all involved. I remind the source that they aren't paying board fees(Rent) and explaining the ordering process from first contact to taking possession of the order and everything in between.(What
@Swolemonkey86 did by leaving the pkg next to the front door with "Return To Sender" written on it for 24hrs is a practice by those exercising extra caution. I was in contact with Swolemonkey while he was stressing.)
Eric, it was swell of you to post that things worked out for you with the help of TPS. I'm sure he could've done without your comment of being ignored? I know I could've. You weren't being ignored. I'm sure after reading your post he knew something was off. As another member already posted, int packs are seized at the border. At Customs. Once it clears, its headed your way.
The last couple of years we've seen a small # of packs shipped by domestic sources to their customers picked off and the customer receiving a knock at his front door from a Postal Inspector with questions in regards to the pkg that he had his grubby hands on.
The PI wants info on the Source. The customer is left with a sick feeling and no gear. There's more to say on the topic but my point is you can stir things up unnecessarily with a post like the one you made.
Can I please ask why you assumed or what caused you to believe your pkg was seized? You didn't ask for any advice but that's never stopped me from giving some out anyway.
Shooting from the hip like you did isn't going to keep you in good standing with the source when you make posts like the one you made here. If you aren't sure if its the right move to make I suggest you ask a member who has been around before posting. If not, you very well might find yourself on the outside looking in not being able to order again.
