Hola! Good to see you around friend. Did you watch the pride fight?

Hey Hogg!

Nope, couldn't watch neither of the two (UFC/Pride) as i was busy getting married ;-). My marriage was on Jan 24th.

congrats on getting married....it is news like this that reminds me......I need to make Ms. Hogg an honest woman soon.

Congrats, OT. I guess you are now excused from being absent from the board for so long. Good luck in your new life.

I loved the fight between Tank Abbott and Don Frye. I figured Frye would win pretty easy by getting him out of breath and on the ground. But Tank punched the hell out of his face before he did choke him out. I thought that was a good fight for Abbott because Frye usualy does good with his hands. But the best fight was between Vitor Belfort and (cant remember name) Wrestler from USA. Man, i just dont like that guy Belfort and wanted him to get knocked out so bad and this guy figured out how to defend himself from those fast as hell punches and knocked his ass out. It was Great!!!!!

Randy Couture was the best, wasn't he? I loved that fight too. The rematch was a little disappointing, but they could have a rubber match. I remember pulling for Randy for so many reasons, mainly because he's a tough guy, but also because he wasn't letting the foreigners take over the sport.

You want to talk about tough how about cro cop,bob sapp, randellman.
I never miss a fight, and i thought coleman beat frye?
pride is where its at ,and k-1,,,you must check out Bob The Beast Sapp..
he would smoke tanks ass

He may smoke Tank, but he had to tap out in the first fight I saw him in.
Some Jiu Jitsu artist got him in an armbar. Guy probably didn't weigh 200 pounds. And Kevin Randelman beat Bas Ruten(sp?), but the judges didn't give him credit for anything.

Oleg was great at Sambo. Even though he beat Tank,he needed oxygen after the fight and Tank got up and walk right out of the ring. Oleg just would never give up and he was always covered in blood after his fights :-) Dan was great too,in the old UFC,but since he hasn't been fighting in UFC type of comps,i don't believe he has learned anything but Greco-Roman,so he would never last in the new UFC. He threw Shamrock around in a Superfight. O yeah,i saw Oleg in a few movies :-) I didn't see his name in the credits, but i know it was him. I liked that guy,he was cool.

He was in "15 Minutes", with DeNiro, if I remember correctly. Also may have been in "Sunset Heat". He WAS tough, wasn't he. Had his head cracked open in one fight, I believe, and KEPT fighting.
