Upper chest and side of pecs

How to focus on this? My gym lacks a barbell support (replaced by machine, legal abuse?) so no incline/decline lifts :/

How do I best push out the sides and top of my chest?

the only thing I can think of for upper chest is bring the barbell down (on flat bench) close to your neck, but keep your chest out so your shoulders don't take over

Lol.. This question always kills me...

First will you show me on an anatomy chart where the upper chest or upper pectoral is located? ......... What? Can't do it?

Well, that's because there is no such thing. THe pectoral is one muscle. not seperated. Guys just think they're upper chest is small .. well, that's because your lower chest is small too... The only way to get a big meaty chest is to build up the whole muscle ... The whole pec.. Exercises like flat bench, low grade decline dumbbell press are best..

This comes from consistant time in the gym and a good diet and from dedication... There is no exercise that will exclusivly build your upper chest... Simply make your whole chest bigger and the upper and lower pectoral (lol) will both be big and full ;)

Phreezer's advice is spot on and can be applied to any inner/outer, bi/tri question that comes to mind.

The only addition I might add, which should in no way overshadow the preceding, is that bf levels must be extremely low to see that pec tie in. It's only when bf levels are low, that you even notice the separation of muscle groups. Those who are lean look bigger and will show more "inner and outer" parts of a muscle than the guy whose 30 lbs. bigger with the same LBM. This is often confused with building a muscle, when in fact it's just uncovering it.

So your trying to tell me you dont have a bench in your gym that adjusts to different angles? You need to get into a better gym buddy. Sounds like the gym you goto is fucking GHETTO!!!

For my chest workout i try to hit every angle, but in different workouts.

workout 1 just flat and decline
workout 2 just incline
workout 3 raise the bench between flat and incline, just alittle angle. I feel that is most beneficial to my chest cause in that range of motion i hit the entire chest.

always switch it up,
