This practice is inconsistent with existing guidelines and would be considered a deviation from current practice standards especially in the absence of classic well documented low T signs and symptoms.
im not saying its bad practice per se, but painting "TRT" with such a broad bush is how some physicians become known as a STEROID DOC which may lead to further, usually state medical board, scrutiny.
And if patients don't believe, or are not searching for, low T as the source of their problems, the pursuit of an "ah-ha low T" diagnosis is often WRONG

Certainly, he gave a crucial importance to signs and symptoms too, following the number level of TT stated.
Actually, I don´t think either It´s a bad practice, studies have shown how normal healthy males should be around 650 ng/dL, so this Doc seems to understand the importance of living strong whatever the age is.
Still, I am a firm believer of you can raise TT naturally very high with the proper habits, like testicles sunning.
