IMO the way to go is ebay. Search for "Stirling ultracold". Always start with a lowball offer, these are plentiful on the used market. TAKE THE $90 ALLSTATE WARRANTY, just in case.

Stirling is the leader in small cryofreezers, and these are made tough enough for emergency services. They're $8-10k new.

Alternatively, "ultracold freezer" will bring up a bunch of brand new units identical to the Alibaba models, at a premium. but with ebay protection and quicker delivery. ($899 is the cheapest I've seen on Ali, for reference).

Found and bought this one for $219 from amazon....only the red one is legit super cold...holds at -40....all the other ones i found were -7 or -10...oh and it is a standard non fluctuating freezer....so will frost up but so small each to defrost in a few hours. definitely wanted to avoid a frost free freezer!
