My outlook on topics like this, is as follows. You ask 10 people their preferred protocol, and you may get 10 different answers, completely contradicting each other, on which is "the best". Truth is, there is likely no best way, with most of these things.
I always suggest taking in the opinions of people you trust, and then further researching those opinions on your own, then follow the one you agree strongest with.
Then from there you can experiment, and see if you notice any appreciable differences when changing protocols. Run 5 on2 off for a while maybe. Then try daily. Try 1 dose a day. Try splitting in 2 doses for a while. This way you can formulate your own idea of what is best.
For me, the proposed protocol doesn't make sense. 2 on 1 off? When only running gh 5 days a week? That doesn't align with my beliefs. But that is not to say your trainer doesn't have good results with it, and it might not be worth exploring further at some point in the future.
I would personally just run a set dose, for a few months, and see how things are going. After that you can evaluate if you want to play around a bit, and try a different protocol for a while.
