Using Big Pharma amps or Research-Grade powders as analytical standards?

While some analytical standards are quite affordable
Testosterone enanthate
analytical standard
http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sial/t3006?lang=en&region=US (Testosterone enanthate analytical standard | Sigma-Aldrich)

Others fairly priced
Stanozolol
analytical standard

http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sial/s7132?lang=en&region=US (Stanozolol analytical standard | Sigma-Aldrich)

Trenbolone acetate
United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Reference Standard
http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/usp/1673828?lang=en&region=US (Trenbolone acetate United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Reference Standard | Sigma-Aldrich)

Others are a bit pricey
http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sial/o0380?lang=en&region=US (Oxymetholone analytical standard | Sigma-Aldrich)
Search : oxymetholone
Lipomed | Analytical Reference Standards. Oxymetholone
And it ain't clear if Reference Standards or API Standards are the same purity as CALIBRATED standards

But the big problem is that they still are DEA controlled substances thus hard and risky to get
"drug control USDEA Schedule III; Home Office Schedule 4.2; regulated under CDSA - not available from Sigma-Aldrich Canada"

So what about using a Big Pharma amp as the 100% standard?
Then diluting it with some vegetable oil to get say 75%, 50% and 25% standards? Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate and even Ethyl Oleate can be added to the diluting oil, if needed.
So, with these 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% "standards", the UG product purity can then be easily calculated by comparing the graph peak heights.

Can suitable analytical standards also be made by brewing high-purity, research-grade powders to different concentrations?

Same for testing orals or raw powders,
by diluting high-purity powders with fillers, thoroughly mixed?

Legit Big pharma gear is always accurately dosed, with an margin of error of less than 5%
so it can well be used as a confirmatory test, to make sure the lab personnel didn't make a math or dilution mistake. Sometimes it happens to the best scientists.

I don't see this happening. Large pharmaceutical companies vary more than I would like to think about. There are literally hundreds of cases every year in the United States . Just do a news search, underdosed, overdosed, toxins, etc.
