Very O/T: Sulfur for skin irritations

This is very off topic... sry.

For YEARS my family has always put a sulfur cream on skin irritations, and within a few hours, the irritation is completely gone. The actual rash usually dissappears after about 12 - 24 hours. Is this nothing new, has sulfur been used to treat skin irritations before?

I ask because I had a horrible heat rash caused from a jock-strap in the groin area (I have very very sensative skin, hence me not opting for the transdermal test). I put the 6% sulfur cream on, and within an easy 10 hours, it was completely gone.

All my life I never had problems with my skin but when I came down with low t that is when I started having trouble. I would break out in a rash in the same spots on my body they would not go a way with any kind of treatment. And when I eat shrimp I got hives real bad I have all ways eaten shrimp. I have had this problem for the last 14 yrs. I know I talk about high E2 a lot but this was what was causing the rash and now I can eat shrimp. I have a spa and could not use it for yrs. now I go in every morning. I find it hard to believe that high E2 Estradiol can do this but it did. So is it off topic.
