Vials smelling weird

Not long ago, I bought some gear from a new UGL due to it offering gear at far lower prices (like 50% less) than the one I was using before. However, the unopened vials all have an off smell, reminiscent of solvents and generally "chemical". It is partially (but not fully) attenuated by going over the vial with an alcohol swab, and is still noticeable 2 weeks later. My previous UGL's vials don't have any smell.

Do your vials ever have a smell? Would you consider this a red flag and a sign that the UGL doesn't hold itself to high enough standards? I'm a little worried about rekt by some CA$50 primo.

It could be any sort of solvents used to make AAS. Guicol has a very pungent smell and it used in some brewing processes.

The gear I bought does not contain guaiacol, at least according to the UGL, which states that it's just the gear brewed with MCT.

Which we have a source here that didn’t have guicol in all of the AAS but it got cross contaminated and was in multiple vials and different compounds. Never say never

I just assumed that all of the UGLs follow more or less the same protocols and that the low price was just the result of price competition.

sounds like a no ester pre workout. Are you sure you know what it contains? Lot of that TNE, no ester AAS contain many solvents to keep it in suspension.

Correct, they sell stuff containing guaiacol. But they say where, and the gear that I bought (as Ronnie Coleman would say, just basic stuff) shouldn't have any according to them.

Is guaiacol so pernicious that if the UGL brews anything with it that the smell sticks to all other vials? Or do you think mistakes were made in the brewing process?

It can yes depending on their cleaning process, how many filters they have. Do they have a dedicated filter for stuff containing guaiacol? How are vials stored before sent out? List goes on.

Some mix of test no-ester, tren no-ester, and DHT. The name throws me off.
