"astellas will identify compounds it produces, including those in development, that could be abused by athletes and share information with the agency to help find methods of detecting the substances."

".. announced a global agreement to partner on the prevention of misuse and abuse of medicines for doping in sport. doping in sport relies primarily on the misuse and abuse of commercially available medicines, as well as compounds in development that are not as well known or easily detected."
"this partnership acknowledges that the impact of doping extend well beyond elite athletes to include society as a whole."
"enhancing performance in sports through doping is considered a serious public health issue by the sport movement and authorities worldwide. its critical that pharmaceutical companies play a role in helping to address this important public health concern."

because "misused" or "abused" "medicines", is considered "doping". o_O

headline should read "WADA helps promote new doping drugs"

"... in a weak attempt to justify their worthless existence."

this isn't the first drug company to work with wada and I know ive posted on this before. what I thought was most interesting was "this partnership acknowledges that the impacts of doping extend well beyond elite athletes to include society as a whole." "enhancing performance in sports through doping is considered a serious public health issue by the sport movement and authorities worldwide. its critical that pharmaceutical companies play a role in helping to address this important health concern."

so now "doping", aka "misusing" or "abusing" "medicines", doesnt just mean you've broken the rules of a an athletic competition, its now a public health issue.

I think one the last thing we need is more drug police.
bigger, faster, stronger .. better.

Nerds need to vindicate themselves and justify their miserable existence.
Nerds vs bullies the plot thickens.
