Not to mention taking being humble to a whole new level! Haha!

sorry misread i thought you said he had a good chin ...

Correct, he does not have a good chin, especially for a heavyweight. Like I said, he has very technical striking. He should have used his striking to 1: Avoid getting hit while landing shots, and 2: Setting up take downs/submissions. He needed to approach his fights with a much much better game plan.

He had the striking skill set to avoid getting hit, but he never really used it.

He was really only submitted once, by former UFC heavyweight contender Jeff Monson (Monson lost a decision to Time Sylvia when they fought for the title.. Monson is a world champion (ADCC) grappler. Jay fought him while Monson was on a 16 fight winning streak. In their first fight, he injured his knee, but it was counted as a submission loss for some reason.

Here is the vid of Jay in his last fight. Notice that the commentators repeat what I have said:[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQMysm7-3go]Jay White vs Chris Barnett - YouTube[/ame]

Notice how Jay just squared up (we call that becoming a "duck" in boxing) and started brawling right before he got KOed.

BTW, Barnett is 7-1. He is one of my favorite fighters. I would love to watch him fight Roy Nelson.

you need to add invented the high speed muffler bearing that can only be installed by a left handed monkey wrench which you also invented and by using the wrench to install it ,,,,, it adds 25 more horsepower ..

No, no, keep going. You've still got a long way to go yet. ;)

Okay on a serious note. I know NAPs has some freebies going on right now, but the whole infection thing really scared me. It's tough..do I go with the freebies and risk infection? Decisions decisions decisions. btw guys pics or videos or it didn't happen. Man law.

Forgive me if I repeat myself. These were a few isolated cases that happened with high concentration gear Geneza experimented with. It never happened with regular products and the rest of the blends out of hundreds of thousands of orders we shipped over the years.

I heard sticker bombing your car adds 25 ponies as well.

Its called Ricer Math.

Here is Jay vs Patrick Castillo: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_qikOybOgQ]Patrick Castillo vs Jay White - YouTube[/ame]

He is not even close:

I pioneered fracking, helped to negotiate NAFTA, fed thousands of starving children in Africa (it is really hard to get food past those darn warlords) helped to end Apartheid, designed reinforced vehicle armament to protect US soldiers from IED's, developed cholesterol reducing drug, played a key role in negotiating and end to the Kosovo/Bosnian war, developed drugs that greatly reduced risks of death from AIDS, was a major player in the end of the Cold War/bringing down the Berlin Wall. I quarterbacked my college football team to a Thanksgiving day victory, then put in a 12 hour shift feeding the homeless. I have rescued and re-homed hundreds of Pit Bulls facing certain death.

Oh, I also was a legendary street racer and 2 time recipient of the Nobel Peace prize.

That fight was from 7 years ago almost his record then was 1-5-0and 1 NC so from 2007 to 2013 he amassed a record of 4-7-0-1nc .Which makes him as relevant of a fighter as vanilla ice is to rapping ...He has fought 1 okay fighter in his whole career that was Jeff Monson .Patrick Castillo looks like he ate the entire menu at White Castle just before the fight ..They have a title in the fight world for fighters used like him its called a CAN ...Just saying now back to original threads topic ....

Been saying the exact same thing. Thanks for clarifying again..

Tell you what, tough guy, why don't you step up to him? I love how pussies like you are such bad asses behind the keyboard. If he is a can, then you should not have any problem. Let me know, I will give him a call. Just sayin.

Or maybe you can step up to Castillo first. Are you really so stupid to think that fighters need to look like bodybuilders? Go watch Roy Nelson fight.

If you listen to the commentators, they say very clearly, and Randy (Couture) confirms the fact, that Jay was put up against too many quality guys, too early. Most of them were good enough to make it to the UFC like Wellich and Obrian. Counting Monson, 5 losses were to guy who were close to the top 10 in the world. Burch was 9-2, and undefeated when he fought Jay. Also, they had Jays' record wrong.

And Monson is "OK"? are you retarded? Monson was, year in year out, one of the top, if not the top grapplers in the world. He won the ADDC (world) title several times. He also had wins in professional boxing. He came 1 fight from winning the UFC belt. If you had half a brain, you will see that all of Jays fights were against guys who were UFC caliber. He should never have been thrown in the deep end so soon.

Here is an important point that most people don't understand about MMA: Most fighters were ALREADY champions when they started MMA. Division 1 wrestling champions, boxing champions (although the very top guys don't leave boxing, as the money is too good). BJJ and submission grappling champs MT champs, San Shou, Karate champs.

These are your typical participants. I have trained w/ many, many 500 fighters, and trust me, they would destroy you in a street fight. The money in MMA is really good, now. Yes, Dana still rips off his fighters, but sponsorship money is very good (Jay got over $80K one year). You can open your own gym,

You're average boxer who fought in the Golden gloves would beat the shit out of any average guy in a bar fight unless there was a huge weight discrepancy, weapons involved, or something like that. Someone who was trained in any kind of striking or fighting, is generally going to fuck someone's shit up, unless they start trying to do the crane Mr Miagee style or something. Of course there are outliers and exceptions, but this is generally the rule.

Anyone who says otherwise, hasn't been in to many fights. I was a bouncer for a long time, was a "tomato can" myself for awhile (I actually wasn't bad considering the time I put into boxing - I just trained in the winters). I've seen and broken up more fights then I care to remember when I was a bouncer. I worked in a local dive bar, and there were fights every weekend. Generally, there's a few haymakers and a couple out of breath dudes. Sometimes, one of them is on the floor. Sometimes you get a good one where a couple dudes throw down for a few minutes - TOPS. Generally, both of them are glad you're breaking it up - with exceptions of course. Fighting is tiring.

I'm from the same area as Peter McNeely. Most everyone remembers his 30 second fight with Mike Tyson. Every big mouth in Boston had something to say to him after his fight, and he went on a tear through the bars in Boston knocking dudes out left and right. He was a professional heavyweight fighter - bottom line. If you're not a Pro, he's going to ruin your day in a fight.

If Mike Tyson, in his prime, hit any one of us....we'd be in a world of hurt. Probably the last guy on earth I'd want to take a shot to the chin from.

It drives me crazy though, when people act like they could hang with pros from any sport. YOU CAN"T. When I played semi-pro football after college I was an outside linebacker. The other outside linebacker was a guy who played in the NFL for 2 years. He was 6-3, 250, fast as hell. He just looked like he was on another level on the field with us, and he was. I hit him full speed once in practice, and to this day I have never felt anything like it. He went down too, and told me I was a crazy ass hard hittin white boy, which made me feel great. Except that I was seeing the white spots for about 20 min. It felt like I dove into a pool with no water. It was nothing to him. When I watched his NFL highlights, he looked slow as shit and out of place. When we'd watch game film of our team - and this team had plenty of former D1 players on it, he looked out of place in the other direction.

There's another level in all sports from fighting to bodybuilding to tennis. Most of us have never come close to that level.

Well that's my rant for the day...carry on.

PS - never pick a fight with a wrestler.
