Weight loss and loose skin ?

Of course you pay any difference out of pocket, still better than paying all of it. (always worth asking if they'll accept the insurance covered amount as payment in full, which has worked for me).

For the one I spoke to, I told him I'd pay cash and deal with the Insurance otherwise. I also said that I'd do the legwork on the pre-auth, they'd just have to submit it. No dice.

I'm still vascillating on the surgery, recovery is a bitch and I'm an old man. I'd look way, way better having had it, but do I really need to look that good in any case?

Unfortunately, loose skin is pretty much pure genetics - maybe age plays a role too, but genetics is the big one.

I know two people who were both obese:
One lost 70 pounds and has zero loose skin, like he was never overweight.
The other lost only 35 pounds and already has the dreaded belly overhang - despite using GH, GHK, TB, BPC, and every cream under the sun.

I keep telling him: stop stressing about it, just keep cutting and start setting money aside for surgery.

The problem is, in the U.S. it’s insanely expensive without insurance, so he’s planning to fly back home to the CIS and get it done there - 60–70% cheaper at least.

There's only one person who can answer that and certainly no one here is gonna judge you either way

(OK I was a little judgy when Mike Israetel got his love handles surgically removed after he retired from bodybuilding) (he later said he didn't retire but was taking a break from competing, which was a complete lie so I felt less bad for being judgmental)

GH, GHK, TB, BPC for post-obese weight loss saggy skin is like bringing a Super Soaker to a forest fire

Haha yeah, exactly - we’re out here hoping peptides will work miracles, but it’s basically skincare versus gravity.

My buddy already gave up and is just saving for a surgeon now - hopefully one who’s good with a scalpel and a sense of humor.

But honestly, after watching that Dr. Mike video, I don’t even know if people should go through with that kind of surgery unless the loose skin really, truly bothers them.

I can’t personally relate, but people need to understand - loose skin, stretch marks… that’s part of the price for past lifestyle choices. It doesn’t just disappear with a cream or a peptide.

Folks close to me have had similar surgeries and I've seen the brutal recovery first hand. I'm less worried about the suffering and more worried about what a terrible human being I might be. I fundamentally lack the ability to sit still and not do things. I'd jump through my own ass.
