Anyone have any good/bad feedback on two a day was gonna do one in the morning just weights the at night do light bit of weights with cardio, any ideas??

Depends on your split IMO. Work a major muscle group and then minor with the cardio. Or cardio after the major and hit the other in the 2nd. A lot of possibilities man. What do you respond to? Do that.

I do twice per day, 14 sessions per week, when on, like now. I typically 'miss' 2-3 workouts per week, so effectively 11-12. Just remember the body split and recovery time thing. And eat like a hog.

Any particular reason why you want to do 2x a days?

The only time you really 'need' to do it is when the amount of work you have to do to grow or progress is so high you have to actually split it up in multiple sessions per day because you can't perform that long in a single session and you need such a high weekly workload to progress.

But if you want to try it you can do something like where you train your main lifts during the AM and return at PM to do your accessory work, or if you use a split you can do something with moderate frequency like P/P/L and do your bigger work during the AM and smaller stuff during PM (example: for pull day you would do your vertical pulls and horizontal row movements during the am session and you would return at night to do biceps and rear delts or something). The PM session shouldn't be 'easy' so to speak, ideally you will have some more performance in the tank than you normally would because you're splitting it up.

I know somebody who is doing this with great results but he's using a 15RM and doing movements without as much eccentric load or as fatiguing as conventional lifts (leg press, weighted dips etc).

I personally don't see the appeal of 2x a days and it's something I will never do unless I absolutely have to to make progress, and with AAS involved I doubt I will ever get to that point. It's more of a concern for very advanced drug free lifters.

I spent the better part of 4 months hitting the gym 3x a day, morning cardio afternoon squatting and one accesory or deadlift and evening either benching with one accesory or OHP with arms. I was doing this because I wasn't aloud to work and literally had nothing else to do in the day so it was just a way to get out of the house really there wasn't much benifit to it. The only benifit I find from hitting the gym 2x a day is splitting your cardio and lifting up so you can do cardio in the am then let your body recharge so you are good to go lift in the evening.

All this is goal dependant too, I was strictly working towards powerlifting so it's not like I was crushing my muscles creating a huge pump and being sore for days I'd go in hit my 5x5 or 8x3 with whatever accesory then stretch in and out in an hour but going 3x a day it totals to 3 hours

This is more of a PL thing I know, but here's a valid point: In the 60s, the Bulgarians invaded - I N VA D E D - the powerlifting arena world wide. They worked the same bodyparts day in day out for hours. "The Bulgarian Way" emerged and to these day, people are amazed you actually get fantastic results from it and don't burn out or get injured or stagnate.

I have used it twice the last year to fantastic results, shocking your body to grow. Try adding 30% to your basic lifts in a few months with no injuries.

But yes, advanced, and I wouldn't do it off cycle. I have 20 years of experience with both.

Horses for courses and this horse loves it ;)

3-4 times a WEEK for me. good for growth, go soo heavy that in 40min-1hr im at failure and then give it 1-2 days rest before hitting weights again.
