What are you listening to today? Gym music or just daily music

Not in the gym but sitting outside the bait shop waiting for them to open. Customer had some time constraints where he needs to be off the water by 11am so we have a 6am start time and they usually open sometime between 5:30am and 6 so I'm rolling the dice lol. Usually would have filled the bait tanks yesterday for a trip like this but it wasn’t possible with yesterday being Christmas. As a fishing guide the worst feeling in the world (other than skunking out) is showing up to the ramp and seeing your customers waiting on you.

Thank you for the kind music suggestions, which are part of your "music for the day".
I will be listening to them, in the next few days, too.

This is turning out to be a nice thread, with all sorts of different songs featured and I love the little intros to them that Bigpoppachump2 writes.

Thank you Rek and everyone else who has been here, too.
I am really enjoying how it follows people moods and daily happenings.

great choon and also very cool job tbh.

It’s a lot of fun when the fish are cooperating like they were today. Problem was the damn wind. My face is cherry red from wind burn today lol

Put a cream that creates a bit of a barrier and stays put.
Like Weleda Skin Food, Rich (it comes in a green tube).

A little goes a long way and it is not expensive.
I think that aside from oils it contains a little bit of beeswax and lanolin, and these probably make it stay on the surface, too.
It kind of feels like a cross between a cream and a balm.

Couldn't do that line of work, I would burn to a crisp and the fact I get sea sick:D.
I'll stick to the odd bit of fresh water fishing.

I am just saying, for me this feels like it creates a bit of a barrier against the cold/wind.
Maybe for the gentleman snd you is still not enough to avoid skin becoming so irritated.
Maybe it will work to cut that exposure down.

Try.
If you don't like it, you can always give it to your mum.

I forgot...

You can also find a tube that is half the size shown on the link I put, so 30ml instead of 75 and so cheaper.
Here, I find it in the pharmacy travel size section.
Yes, the less stuff inside the less cost effective, but at least you get to try and decide if you like it enough, without committing to spending for the bigger product.

I’m actually a freshwater guide. The group I work with targets a particular saltwater fish that is stocked in most of the large reservoirs across the southeast US. I also have a YouTube channel where I travel the southeast (when I’m not guiding) and just show up at different lakes with just the basic amount of research done and put my skills up against that lake and post the outcome win lose or draw.

I will say though the YouTube channel has taken a back seat recently while I try and get my diet and training habits back to an acceptable level. Between the charter service, YouTube and marriage I just didn’t have the time to devote to eating and lifting like I had been during Covid.

No shortage of fish of where in your place by the sounds of it so. Been a few years since I'm properly fishing but here in Ireland, I've wasted many a Sunday with barely even a bite of a Pike.
