Where I am at, it counts as "extreme sport" injury and insurance doesn't cover it (they see fitness as the same), and certainly not operation. I could return home and get it, but they only operate if mobility is hindered or pain is immense, and from checking that would put me on a waitlist for months. Is there a reason you are against just getting an MRI? Do you have insurance? Or no?
If I do it here, I would have to pay for it all myself unfortunately, but could get it asap.
So it's not the MRI I am against per sé, but the limited solutions after. Think MRI would cost 5-600usd here for a decent one.
My dad e.g. clipped ligaments at several places in shoulder when he fell on ice. Extreme pain. Still he had to wait 3 months to get a time.
