what is your fasted blood glucose on hgh and how much do you take?

Shift work is tough in this context. I mean all contexts, but especially for metabolic health, glucose management, etc.

Keep exercising and be mindful of sleep hygiene.

Sedentary shift workers with poor sleep quality take the biggest hit wrt risk factors. Don't be one of those.

Yea my sleep definitely sucks I’ve been on this schedule for almost a decade now. Sleep for 2-4 hours and wake up and then try to sleep for another couple hours everyday. I do notice I get “deeper” sleep since adding hgh but it definitely doesn’t keep me asleep any longer than normal, which kinda sucks lol

so ive been on 4iu since early december, recently went to 6iu while on a bulking cycle

i just started checking my fasted glucose the past week. sometimes i get a reading just barely over 100. 103 is the highest ive gotten so far when i first wake up, 93 is the lowest, ill continue to monitor this...

i check it randomly lately throughout the day and its usually around 90-110 whenever i check it.

ive read that cortisol levels upon waking could cause fasted glucose to be a little elevated.

with all this in mind, ill definitely continue to monitor my fasted glucose, but i was just curious what you guys who check your glucose have experienced while taking gh

if it matters, im on 600 test 300 deca 300 primo currently with the 6iu ed before bed.
5iu fasted in the morning HGH. My sugars average are 89. I check it at minimum 2 times a day. At least first thing in the morning fasted and pre bed. MOST of the time I try to do it 3-5 times a day but that doesn’t happen always.

Although I agree with some others here that A1c is more important and a better gauge on what your sugars really are.

Does that concern you? Do you check it during the day after meals and such?
Not at all. Reference range is up to 110 on my bloods and I’ve been running it a couple of months now at the same dose. Also using 5mg tirz a week. I’ll probably run it until the end of summer and give it a break as usual. Ran under 5 iu before and it’s around 9x fasted

According to chatgpt anything over 100 while fasted is prediabetic ?

According to the World Health Organization as well

reference is 70-110 and I’m at 100…is that great? No, but at the upper end of normal according to the reference range.

According to what reference range lol. Everything I’ve read says over 100 is prediabetic

Just looked at my labs with labcorp. Reference range is 70-99

I do fasted cardio everyday but I don’t really limit my food late at night. I work second shift and hit the gym after work then come home eat shower inject gh and sleep and repeat that miserable process lol.

So my “morning fasted glucose” is really at around 1pm. Not sure if that makes any difference. I’m just going to definitely keep a close eye on it and also start checking hba1c when I get my labs every 2-3 months and see how that looks.

Also going to add berberine after I do some more research on it to make sure there’s no long term negatives that come from taking it

Fasted means over 12 hours from the last carb meal. There's no reason to stress that much with a measure that's taken once a day and doesn't reflect in the rest of it. Like, if you have a BP of 120/80 first thing in the morning and in the afternoon is 150/95 it is still alarming.

For reference on my last natty bloodwork before i start gear my fasted BG was 80 and my HbA1c 5,5. What should i think of it, it was good or not? 3 months ago when i was pushing gear and food my fasted BG was 100 and my HbA1c 4,9. I was eating 720gr carbs per day and also on 3,6 IU HGH and still my constant BG was very good, despite what a moment in time says.

Sometimes i had 150gr carbs 2 hours before i go to bed, it's normal to wake up next day with a FBG of 100, but that's just my opinion.

In 2 different labs i've gone they're both have normal cap at 110.

I tested mine for the first time in awhile yesterday morning and it was at 86. I'm also on 6iu of GH.

So I’ve been checking mine whenever I wake up when I remember and it’s only been 100+ once. Ironically the first time I checked it and that was after eating like shit all weekend at birthday parties and such.

This has been my results lately

2/24 103
2/25 99
2/26 91
2/28 99
Tue 3/4 91

Still higher than I’d want but I’m not fasted for 12 hours when I check it. I usually eat at 3-4am and check it at 1pm when I wake up.

FBG is generally higher for shift workers.

Shifters need to be more mindful of all the other factors (sleep quality, training, cardio, diet, etc.).

One of the reasons why shift work usually pays more money.

Yea facts for real. Nobody wants to work at night lol. But that’s also why I make a considerable amount more money than anyone that works day shift at my company. And I do way less work lol. Honestly for about the past year I’ve just been getting paid to read about steroids and watch YouTube videos about steroids

4.5 iu every evening around 7pm so i can workout then crash for good sleep.

usually in the 85-90 territory but occasionally have been high 90s. About halfway through a bulk now so not too worried about it being higher. After meals it's still in the healthy range but this isn't something I ever monitored before being on gear. Don't have a baseline to compare it to.

After meals for me mine seems to always be around 110 since I’ve randomly been checking. I also never ever checked before hgh so I don’t have a baseline either aside from previous labs that show glucose. And all those were always 70-90. Usually in the 70s for me

All in all i believe fasted BG is not a marker worth paying too much attention. HbA1c, fasted insulin and HOMA-IR are better for dictating if you're insulin resistant or not.
FBG is a good weekly or even more frequent way to keep an eye on things as it takes 10 seconds to do at home. If things start to trend in the wrong way, that is when I would have additional work done on top of regular check-ups (which HbA1c should definitely be a part of I agree)

Fasted I’m 83 and 85 so far. Fasted insulin is 7. before bed and will bump up to 4iu soon. I’m also on 6mg of Tirz. Thoughts on HOMA IR?

85/86 early morning average during the day 90/92

10IU GH
10mg reta

I would probably have lower BG on tirz or sema but that's another story.

Funny thing is the highest BG I see after eat it's 140/145 and that's only when I do heavy carb/sugary meal

On average it doesn't go past 120
Another funny thing I saw is that the spike are a lot delayed compared to how it should be, sometime 2 hours past the meal it's still slightly raising and it keeps raising even after 4 hours from the last meal.

I’ve checked mine a few times randomly during the day. Randomly after eating a lot of carbs and I’m usually between like 109-120

But when I wake up I’m routinely at 90-97

I’ve been 103 one time. Never above 100 since that one reading, which ironically was the first time I ever checked it lol
