I hear it works for only 40% of people that actually use it?

Any success / non successful stories here?

Any sides from those that saw good results? Water retention and facial bloating is a common one I hear from Minox.

  • Around ~40% of men showed moderate to dense hair regrowth on the crown with topical minoxidil in early FDA-review studies.
  • In broader clinical use and surveys, about 55–75% of users report some positive response (new hair growth or reduced loss) with 5% topical minoxidil.
  • In observational data, ~64% of patients had clinical improvement after 6 months of treatment.

The professionals say topical is much more successful when used after derma-rolling, something to consider adding to the routine

I think minoxidil might have helped somewhat but the true game changer was dutasteride. I still use minoxidil, since it might help to keep more hair while on cycle, something dutasteride has limited capacity to do (it works fine for test only cycle, if you use other substances, minoxidil is more effective).

The studies showed microneedling (not derma-rolling) once a week with daily topical minox made minox a lot more effective

Once a week for a few minutes
