Now I've heard a bunch of a bunch of jargon I've have never heard of like tor,pgp securnym. I'm not new to the game, but I am to online ordering. I can smell bs a mile away, and can spot something fishy pretty quickly. :) so what do you guys do in order to reduce the chances of being caught by LE? Any insight is much appreciated:thumbup:

RULE NO.1 - Don't tell people your going to order online......:D

use a reputable source who takes the time to pack it right, and clean house. i like to take the laptop to a buddies, if its a controlled delivery deny you know anything about it and have no evidence or other contraband around.
in realty that happening on a small order is slim. most likely a customs note if you order international. domestic is safer.
if anything goes wrong get a good attorney. its better to be broke and free than a penny pitcher behind bars.

I have been lookin into the whole TOR web browser and all that. There is a topic about all this on a different site that is very informative about steps to be safe. I'll see about posting it.

I see lots of people discussing things like becoming distributors etc....

This can be dangerous if the proper precautions aren't taken. Assume all your internet activities are being monitored at all times. I am no expert, but I have some suggestions, mostly cut and pasted from around the web, plz excuse the plagiarism.

I highly recommend that everyone utilize TOR or a VPN, and a secure email.

TOR is a more secure browser, it hides you pretty well with encryption and bouncing you around between TOR "nodes".

More information about TOR can be found HERE

A VPN is another layer of security, I only use TOR by the way, but I am not planning on selling AT ALL to anyone ever. So if you are planning on it, you should do what you can to protect yourself and hide your tracks.

Most VPN's are going to be a paid service, what is a VPN?

There are also several VPNs that don't maintain logs of user activity. Here is a list of some of the ones I've come across that meet my own criteria e.g. no logs, bitcoin, etc. (Disclosure: I receive a commission from some of them.)

Private Internet Access Logs: None. Jurisdiction: United States Information-sharing: “We will not share any information with third parties without a valid court order. With that said, it is impossible to match a user to any activity on our system since we utilize shared IPs and maintain absolutely no logs.” Payment: Bitcoin

EarthVPN Logs: None. Jurisdiction: Northern Cyprus Information-sharing: “Under no circumstances we will provide any personal or private information to the third parties.” Payment: Bitcoin

NordVPN Logs: None. Jurisdiction: Panama Information-sharing: “Requests are ignored because we do not comply with those laws.” Payment: Bitcoin

IVPN Logs: None. Jurisdiction: Malta Information-sharing: “We do not share data with 3rd parties. If law enforcement served us with a subpoena and compelled us to log traffic we would shut down the business before cooperating, and relocate to a new jurisdiction.” Payment: Bitcoin

BTGuard Logs: None. Jurisdiction: Canada Information-sharing: “We do not communicate with any third parties. The only event we would even communicate with a third-party is if we received a court order.” Payment: Bitcoin

TorGuard Logs: None. Jurisdiction: Nevis, West Indies Information-sharing: “We don’t share any information with anyone regarding our network or its users and won’t even consider communicating with a 3rd party unless they’ve first obtained adequate representation within our legal jurisdiction. Only in the event of an official court ordered ruling would we be forced to hand over blank hard drives. There’s nothing to hand over but an operating system.” Payment: Bitcoin

EMAIL

Hushmail: Hushmail is perhaps the best-known alternative to Lavabit and Secret Circle. It's also available for free, at least for some basic features, which is pretty nice. For free, you get OpenPGP encryption, 25MB of storage, any domain you want, and a nice web-based service.

Lelantos Mail - a new mail service on Tor hidden services with servers outside of the USA. A lifetime subscription is less than $10 US in bitcoin. Use PGP for sensitive email. Similar to Tormail, you can be reached from the web at your <username@lelantos.org> email address. Find Lelantos mail on Tor browser at lelantoss7bcnwbv.onion.

URSSMail - a new free email service also on Tor hidden services with servers in Brazil and Russia. Functions just like the old Tormail. You can reach URSSMail on Tor browser at f3ljvgyyujmnfhvi.onion

Autistici/Inventati - A/I is an Italian collective similar to riseup.net that is dedicated to providing a full range of free, privacy aware internet services including webhosting and email. No logging of IP addresses. Requires application and approval.

Bitmessage E-Mail Gateway -Bitmessage E-Mail Gateway is a free service located in Switzerland that allows users to send and receive email to/from bitmessage addresses and also from/to any other email address. You do not need an email address to register and can access your mail through a webmail interface, Thunderbird or Outlook. Can be accessed over Tor. Also provides innovative 'localhost access' feature that allows you to hide your IP from the server and sent emails. Using the localhost access option you can connnect anonymously to the server without using Tor or a VPN, giving you anonymous email cheap and easy right from your browser.

That is all I have for now, be safe, be smart, get swole.

good read. thanks bro

Not a problem.

Very nice read Bro. I personally believe that no matter what we do if we are in the croshairs we are going down. That does not mean its not wise to take precautions, but seeing as the Govt is not bound by rules, algorithms, secure connections, etc. I think we are creating a false sense of security when we think we are better off with secure mail than gmail.

Plus the same fact again...we are on a public forum publishing photos and experiences, and purchases etc....A public forum with our home IP exposed and a ton of personal information.

work in progress - unformatted and hard on the eyes -sorry ill get to it later tonight

I keep seeing posts relating to the fear of getting caught importing steroids – usually after the person has already made the order and its on the way and close to delivery. At this point a first time consignee might be having second thoughts or letting their imagination get away from them.

There are two main themes in this post – flying under the radar and how not to leave a smorgasbord of evidence if you did get a knock at the door by the local constabulary. The latter being the most important because most of the time they only have enough to reasonably suspect there is something to find but not enough to make a big charge stick if they come away empty.

Ordering steroids online

First and foremost buying steroids, for most people is an illegal activity this is a decision often taken lightly at the time of purchase, realise that life is full of risk and no matter how small the chancethere is a possibility of having your package seized and coming under the scrutiny of Law enforcement. Have a think about this before you order.

The number one thing when ordering in my opinion is to use a form of payment that cannot be linked to you. My first choice would be to purchase a Prepaid Visa with cash and use that to make an order. QR stealth payment is pretty good but there is nothing stopping an agency from also making a small purchase to see how the product is billed and then checking out your own back statements. It’s a small piece of evidence that can either exist or not if the worst happens – my preference is to not have any entry on my personal bank statements – no entry, no explanation needed.

Name and address on package – you could have the consignee renamed to something close to your name in order to show that the package is intended for you but obviously if you had actually ordered it you would have spelt your name right yes? You could address to your youngest child and have it sent to grandma’s house – a bit of a dick move but they would at least have plausible deniability. Had a workmate leave recently? Address it to him at your work and mention to the receptionist that your friend asked you to collect a package due to be delivered accidently to this address. Know of an empty house? Address to there and wait for the unsuccessful first delivery and then do a manual pickup with the card they leave. Lots of options that take you out of the line of fire.

Internet traffic.

Use a private VPN for internet activity where you don’t want a 3rd party looking over your shoulder, in an age where everything you do on the internet is recorded and stored somewhere for later reference you would be foolish to think you are safe surfing naked. A private VPN masks your communications via some quite sturdy encryption to and from the VPN and gives you an internet exit point that may not even be in your country. The only thing your ISP can see is encrypted traffic.

Options include • TOR client – currently you cannot browse the QR forums while using TOR but I hope that will change soon. • Hide my ass is another paid private VPN – they may or may not provide user details to law enforcement – check that out before using them

One other thing – don’t log into anything that knows who you are while using the VPN – records can be cross linked to give your “safe” browsing session a name. eg Facebook or Gmail. Its all about evidence that can either exist or not – we prefer NOT.

Electronic footprints at home.

More evidence that does not need to exist. Every time you connect to the internet and perform an action there is a record created in your computers system files – in most cases there are multiple records created. Not everyone is a computer nerd that knows exactly what to do to erase these records.

By far the best option is to control where these records are stored. The best way I have found is to boot your computer with a totally different operating system from a removable device – the smaller said device, the easier it is to hide in a safe place.

You can download a premade linux bootable image and install it on a flash drive or a cd. Any records will be stored on the system drive which will be the flash drive and your computer under this configuration can have a completely different name and digital footprint. You still use the methods already discussed for safe browsing though.

After you are finished with yourquestionable online activities simply turn off computer pull out flash drive and hide it in a safe place. All evidence safely put into a small flash drive

Cleaning up your PC

I have found a wonderful tool called CCleaner – there is a tool within that that will wipe out internet history and you can defragment your drive and also perform a free space wipe where the software will write white noise to the free sectors and you can select an option to write over empty sectors up to 35 times ensuring that nothing is recoverable.

Cleaning up your house.

If you ever get a knock at the door it would be great if there was very little to find in the event of a search. it’s not illegal to possess vialsand filters and syringes but it all adds up to a story when they find that 20gram bag of powder or multiple bags. There’s also a difference between having a bit of personal use gear and having a manufacturing and distribution setup.

Your gear and manufacture equip should be stored in a safe place when not in use and returned directly soon after use only keep that which is about to be imminently sold/used/gifted. Your safe place should be good enough to survive a manual turnover of your place. I don’t think they train dogs to sniff out roids.

Face to face with the Law,

Best and only advice is to say nothing from the start – I know I have imagined all sorts of stories I could give the cops but don’t even try these guys are professionals they can spot a lie and once you start talking they will play games with semantics. Best and only thing to say is “ I didn’t order that package – I don’t know anything else” and shut the fuck up, anything else ANYTHING can be used as evidence. Let a lawyerfind out what they know or don’t know. The only reason they want to talk is to get more evidence and they are trained to do it.

Here’s a link that explains why it’s a bad thing to talk to the cops even if you are innocent – just don’t.
