Have not tried that yet, but it would definitely be a good fat source. And I think it was always the price that steered me away. If you are on a budget olive oil is also another good fat source. I learned the hard way though that if you are drizzling it over your food and not actually cooking with it to use the light version not the virgin. Virgin is way too overwhelming and the light version is much more mild. I usually pick that up at my regular grocery store for around $4 for 16 oz.

Give it a try OGH, you won't regret it. It is a great healthy fat source that adds a mild nutty flavor. I like it on rice, potatoes, and as dressing over salad. I am adding it to every meal at this point to add calories and healthy fat to my diet. I have heard it is one of the healthiest oils you can get, it's full of omegas and is mostly monounsaturated fat. It is spendy but I found a deal on pipingrock.com for three 16 oz. bottles for $25. I was paying like $16 for one bottle at my local health food store. Would be a great fat source for your keto diet if you plan on doing that this year.

Yes DON'T use virgin olive oil on your salads...the lite is better. I make a simple salad dressing with Lite OO and cider vinegar

Good late breakfast lol. 6 eggs, big piece of ham diced up, an a cup of shredded cheddar.
Ok most would think that this is probably nasty but it ls actually very good shit. This shake consists of 1cup dannon activia black cherry yogurt, 1 cup flash frozen fruit that has black cherries, red cherries, blueberries an strawberries in it, 1 cup pure pineapple juice, an 1 cup whole milk. Mmm mmm good lol. It made enough to have another serving along with my next meal in a few hours.

So heres my new protein powder recipe, not just whey protein .....

1 part - Bobs Red Mill unflavored whey protein
1 part - nonfat dry milk (casein protein)
1 part - NOW powder egg whites
Nestle Quik Chocolate or strawberry , flavor to taste (optional)

This should provide over 30gms complete protein per serving and should be low cal/carbs without the Quik....
