Hmm...fresh Moose droppings 
I found when I returned to my trailer today . We just got fresh snow in the mountains so the Moose are headed down to us in the valley .
Gotta be on attention for them now...

Very. We don't have moose in TX so a few years back my dad and me were in Colorado and saw one. We didn't know any better and started walking towards the LARGE animal. Within seconds the moose had chased us to our truck and did enough damage to the truck we were in that insurance almost totaled it

Holy shit!!!!! How fuckin scared were you guys? Lucky you were close enough to the truck. Minus the truck, that sounds like one of those situations where there's nothing you can do. Can't run fast enough, can't fight back, you just accept the situation and pray for the best. I can't imagine what it must have felt like being in the truck while that was happening. Wow!

Thanks for asking bud. Dad has been out of the hospital for a few weeks and is getting better every day.
Actually I remember laughing my ass off as I was running back to the truck. Not sure why. Once I got to the truck and got a good look at how massive that moose was and his anger towards us the laughter stopped. In the time it took us to crank the truck and drive away the moose had almost totaled the vehicle. We laugh about it today but man I'm so glad neither one of us tripped. That moose was right on our ass
The best stories and the ones you laugh your ass off the most about later are the ones that were the most dangerous. You guys could have been killed but you weren't and for that you have a kick ass chased by a moose story. Relatively speaking, not many people have a "chased by a massive moose, almost totaled the truck story". Kick ass story for parties and family gatherings. And the fact that it was with your Dad makes it even more kick ass. lol.
I wish I had a chased by a moose story.
