4 g of carbs per 100 g serving, That seems a little low for carbs and pasta? hmm What kind of pasta is this? i just did some research and i "Couldn't find" any kind of pasta with low carbs like this, glycemic index etc shows different much higher carbs per serving?Pics of last night’s dinner. Whole-grain pasta with pesto and a few shrimp. Great cutting meal actually, the pasta is only about 4g protein, 9g fat and 4g carbs per 100g. My 200 g portion was just 143 caloriesView attachment 350294View attachment 350295
Lol, you got me there. I checked again and turns out the label was showing the macros for the cooked pasta (it literally says “Wartość odżywcza produktu po ugotowaniu”). These are Polish whole-grain fusilli my friends brought me, and I didn’t realize that detail at first4 g of carbs per 100 g serving, That seems a little low for carbs and pasta? hmm What kind of pasta is this? i just did some research and i "Couldn't find" any kind of pasta with low carbs like this, glycemic index etc shows different much higher carbs per serving?
You still can...two noodles per serving!!Man, I’m really grateful you pointed it out, otherwise I’d have kept eating them thinking I was cutting![]()
Good thing, becsuse in a cut? That could really skew your macros if in a "cut"Lol, you got me there. So yeah, I ended up writing down the macros for the cooked portion instead of the dry weight. Dry product is of course way higher. I was just hungry and got way too excited about those numbers lmao. Honestly though, putting nutrition facts for the cooked pasta on the package feels like a cruel joke...
Haha, true! You still can...two noodles per serving!!
Yeah, I’m cutting at the moment, so those numbers definitely got pretty messed up. But no big deal, better to figure it out now than later. Thanks again for catching that!Good thing, becsuse in a cut? That could really skew your macros if in a "cut"

Are you making real potatoes or instant? I bought some instant when we were talking about rice burnout, but I haven't tried them yet. I've just been sticking to plain pasta.
i hand peel all my potatoes, i use mostly "baby gold" potatoes they have the best flavor and texture, and sometimes a little "extra skin" from my finger tips lol makes it higher in protein,Are you making real potatoes or instant? Well, I haven't had a cheat meal in a long time so this is one of my favorites , watching some Ryder Cup 2025...View attachment 351162
