What was the longer period did you wait for a package from oversea ?

Hi dude !
I waiting for package from oversea since 9 day and nothing in the mail box. Could you tell me how long did you wait normally for your package by airmail ?

Normaly I receive it in 7-8days, now I'm stressfull !

And If I got seized, I long that take before they ship the seizure letter ?

If got seized, do you know if my adress will be black listed and I will never be able to receive something ?

It can take a month or longer when coming from overseas depending on where it was mailed from and how it was mailed. If it got seized it could be a few months before you get the letter(sometimes you do not get one).

Some of my first sources were over seas and it took me a month and wouldn't you know my first shipment got seized.. It took me about a month and I recieved a package wrapped in bright green tape that said searched by us customs.. Well I opened the package and all of my original boxes were in there and I say boxes because they took everything out of the boxes and sent me a letter telling me what they seized, then they ask you if you would like to claim your stuff.. Well lets just say they never heard from me but they mailed me like two more times telling me when the court date was to claim the stuff if it was mine, well I never replied to any of their letters I just went on like I didn't know anything.. Never heard anything again...but my source did resend the shipment for free and it made it to me the next time..
I have recently recieved a package air mailed from Isreal that took 5days..
I have another source that takes up to 21days to get to me..
I really prefer to try to find a domestic source. But overseas has worked fine for me also...

It really depends, I used to go with a lot of overseas stuff. I recieved from Marrsel the same week, Wow.
I recieved from someone else in 4 weeks.
I once waited 6 weeks from Mexico, never again.

that's true my first order from Mexico was siezed, but I never received a letter.
the status of the package is: package being processed by US Customs.
and that's it no letter no package.

I am not trying to hijack your thread but I was going to post and your thread fits mine....
I have a package coming from over seas. It arrived in N.Y. customs on the June 14th at 5:02 pm and then it said it cleared customs at 5:22 pm. On the 14th of June. However today is June 23, 2004 and the mail came and no package. I live in the Midwest I am a little uneasy. It has never taken this long in the past and my mind is running wild, thinking that customs may have put up on the tracking page that it has cleared to catch me off guard when the kick my door down. I have cleaned house in preparation for the worst. I may be over-reacting a bit however with all the shit going on in the world today you never can tell. Besides I am an everyday Joe I don't need that kind of heat... I am a pillar in my comunity. LOL I just wondered what you guys had to think Thanks Again
