I have pretty much been listening to the same era music forever. Mostly 90's early 2000's. Any newer artist you guys are enjoying? Trying to spice up my playlist a bit. Recently got turned on to a couple bands I like, Black keys and Rival Sons. Anybody got any suggestions. I like most types of music.

Subbed lol.

I was told my playlist is outdated.
Pretty much 80s metal, 90s rock

Subbed too. I switch between metal and rap.
Couple of my favorite metal albums/artists
-Wrath- Lamb of God
- As the Palaces Burn- Lamb of god
- Fall of Ideals- All that remains
- As I lay dying
- The sound of perseverance- Death
- Slaughter of the Soul- At the gates
- Made me do it- The Haunted
- Any Skeletonwitch album, except maybe the newest one (seriously, check these guys out)
- Hour of the wolf
- Black Sails in the Sunset- AFI (one of my favorite albums ever, check this one out for sure)

As far as rap goes, I'm a lil Wayne, eminem, royce da 5'9", Kendrick lamar, j-cole, big Sean fan. I also enjoy listening to the new, shitty rap lol

You should check out a band called Monster God. I work with the drummer. Pretty good metal band

I dont do newer music because of artists like lil’ pisshead, they all are horrible. So went for techno now for working out. Any of it to lift hard. Deadmaus, skrillex, and/or any of that. Whoever else there is thats loud and has a drop for a big deadlift! I can care less about artist as just the song. Outside of working out i listen to meditation calming music, with tranquil sounds.

They dont make songs like they used to!

Check Darksidevinyl, i love a lot of his tracks.. like his Macedonia EP.. i have Spotify Premium... With my Portable JBL partybox 300w best bang for bucks ever. Check his track with Cadillac Express too

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Van Halen - Eruption
Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
Joe Satriani - Searching
Led Zeppelin -Stairway fo Heaven

Travis - Sing
Muse - Time is Running Out
Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
John Denver - Country Roads

For me it's mostly 60s, 70s and 80s rock and my playlist has material from The Doors, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Slayer along with some Five Finger Death Punch thrown in.

I've gotten to love the Rock Workout channel on SiriusXM and use their app to stream while I workout in the gym.

For cardio I listen to electronic house music...the bass beat acts like a metronome when riding the bike or climbing the stairmaster.

Metal guy here as well but pretty much listen to mix when lifting so basically mix of all genres but mostly metal

Only EDM for the gym. I have a laundry list on Spotify. If anyone is interested just let me know.
Lets exchange our favourites bro.. i added mostly tracks i would love to play on set whenever i ll can do it.. not even started djiing aha but i would like to... i m Froz3n on spotify

Lifting music lately has been a lot of slipknot, machine head, and hatebreed.
I bought Slipknot’s Yowa years ago... that was People = Shit... (totally agree with them) ... Wait and Bleed... I Am Hated... poweful tracks... listen to Dimmu Borgir - Puritania... nice track
