Oh yeah, well atleast when we get together, he lives a state down now, but hes been there for all my big pr's, we always have a blast workin out when we get together. Always the best workouts for me, he's the reason i go so hard in the gym, and he always pushes me to do better, its awesome haha
Sometimes for my last set to finish off chest day, I start at 55 degrees with a weight I can do 5-10 reps. Start at 55 degrees and do 10 reps. Then immediately move bench to next lower setting and do 10 more ....etc. until bench is flat. By that time my reps are around 5-6.
It's an awesome finisher to chest day.. Hits all angles if chest....and leaves me extra pumped.
I go just under 45 degrees. Makes me hit different muscle groups than flat bench and doesn't feel as shoulder-focused as 60 degrees upwards. I chuck them 90 pounders around now ...
My favorite is about 15 degrees as well. I started doing it that way from the first day I worked out like 10 years ago. I have tried all the angles. I always get a super sore chest / upper chest when I do the 15 degree incline bench like 4 - 12 reps. I prefer dumb bells on it. Have never put a adjustable bench in the power rack to try it. The new gym I go to has a power rack for the first time so I will give it a shot. My best with db's is 110 for 10 reps.
