What's the general consensus on peptides. Are they good or bad?

Also, I don’t know much about peptides in general, but have been researching because it seems like there’s so many out there, but I question their efficacy.

One thing I stand by is injectable L-Glutathione. This stuff WILL take care of liver issues — take it from the recovering alcoholic who had some of the most fucked bloodwork you would ever see when I was in the ICU. Now everything is in range, fortunately.

Not a peptide, but IME injectable B-Vitamin complex has also increased my energy and overall well being.

Also, HGH, love the stuff and think it’s a fantastic addition if you’re willing to take it long term (4-6+ months) — there are so many benefits I won’t dive in any depth, just gotta do your research.

I’ve noticed that in the States, people are really into peptides - TB and BPC are added to almost every cruise, myself included. In the CIS countries, though, BPC-157 is still treated with caution since it’s not thoroughly studied yet, at least according to feedback from my friends. Personally, I feel like this combo has helped me - my knee and lower back are much better now. GHK-Cu seems to have some effect too, but that burning sensation at the injection site? Nah, not worth it. Tirz and Reta are easily among the best peptides ever made. Overall, yeah, people in the States have no fear when it comes to experimenting with new peptides.

Yea it's crazy you go social media seems like it's the new rave. Young kids promoting all these peptides especially the so called glow stack where they have kids basically losing a little bitof weight and getting a tan and using a filter claiming its life changing.

I've used a lot of different ones.

Ones I rate:

BPC-157
TB-500
SS31
GHK-Cu

Most peptides, I don't feel anything from, good or bad. The above 4, I noticed definite improvements from.

what did you see from ss31 and ghk-cu? what was the protocol like?

I used SS31 at 4mg/d. Had heart failure 30% function remaining and heart was inflamed after the 2nd Pfizer covid shot. Lot of not mainstream research showing that in some people the mRNA shots cause systemic cytokine inflammation (among other things). I noticed a improvement in how I was feeling after adding in the SS31 but it was only 1 part in a much larger protocol I designed so I cant say definitively what roll it played.

Heart function is back to 60% and heart has almost returned to normal size again. I was only concerned with achieving the outcome, not working out what worked best in achieving it.

GHK-Cu was for healing, same as the BPC and TB and I'd mix the BPC/TB and GHK-Cu in the same vial and shot it together each day.

Damn, Congratulations on that recovery, thats great progress!

Perhaps you could outline more about how you went about healing your heart as it could be very useful for other members with reduced heart function.

Did you have any symptoms or how did you end up finding out about it?

My opinion on peptides is very simple.

They work if you have the issue they fix. If you don't have the issue, it's like injecting water.

They're like drugs. Insulin if you have no high blood sugar is downright dangerous.

Before I start, yes I had a lot of issues. This time last year, I thought I would be dead by now. Body was breaking down in 100 different ways while all my lab markers were seemingly good.

Epithalon fixed my chronic insomnia. GH and CJC/Ipa helped but inconsistently. This fixed it entirely. I get sleepy every night now. Once went 2 months on less than 4 hours per day.

SS-31 removed my need for methylene blue. Brain fog, constant confusion, all greatly reduced. I can function now. The methylene blue was unreliable as well.

Selank and semax had cumulative effects. Got rid of procrastination. I was scared of doing anything to the point of having heart palpitations over basic chores. Work was hell. Semax was more of focus, selank relieved the anxiety that paralyzed me.

Mots C made my caffeine plus B complex plus carnitine plus NAD energy last past 2pm. Infact it lasts all day and I can actually now do without the extras. Tested it and I was fine. NAD might work better after the Mots C cycle, will try.

Other thing I've noticed is people doing very small doses that don't do anything. They read the studies then proceed to do what they like. Obese people microdosing GLPs and wondering why they're not losing or doing combinations instead of simply doing clinical doses.

Epithalon was 10mg for 10 days. Yes, that's a kit. Changed my life though. Mots C is 5mg 3 times a week. Did SS-31 at 4mg a day, should have gone higher. Clinical doses are 40mg per day but needed to try out one kit. Won't complain my brain fog and confusion weren't completely resolved because I didn't actually do the clinical dose.

It's like SLU PP. Do 4mg/kg or don't do it at all.

I will not repurchase semax or selank though. In my opinion, they are bandaids. But they work. The same way methylene blue works but is a bandaid as well. Will do more research on a permanent fix.

Will try another cycle of SS-31 at 10mg a day and see.

Epithalon is in my forever kit.

Will go back to GH after I've lost all the weight with Reta. It did work.

Glutathione is another great one. Just so painful .

What did the epithalon do for you im curious? And just 1 kit?

Insulin if you have no high blood sugar is downright dangerous.

It's still dangerous but insulin has a good use case in bodybuilding in the absence of high blood sugar (not just to manage insulin resistance for people running GH on a bulk; even for cutting/recomp)

Do a Google for Milos Sarcev and insulin, he explains it pretty well for a fellow knuckle dragger

Honestly, I was having trouble getting a full nights sleep before i had a short low dose 10 day epithalon run. While taking it I slept almost similar to as if i had popped a 10mg Valium. This may have been due to my specific case and perhaps i had some sort of dysfunction with melatonin production that it helped to kickstart or what I have no idea but since I ran it I have still been sleeping much better for a while now.

Funny thing with this is, my intention in taking it was for the purported anti aging benefits and not for help sleeping at all.

The dosage I took was not a lot, I should have written it down. 1 vial I think @ 1mg a day before bed was all it took. still have 9 vials left in the kit to share the wealth with the homies.

What was your dosage for selank and semax? Injected or nasal spray?

I ran through the entire kit in 10 days, for some context. 10mg a day.

Fixed my circadian rhythm. I feel sleepy at the right time now. And I don't feel sleepy randomly in the middle of the day like I used to.

I get sleepy every night and my body actively tried to get 7-8 hours so if I sleep late, I wake up late if no alarm.

I also get progressively sleepier with time. Before, it was like I had a brief window to sleep when the urge came and if I tarried too long, I was shit out of luck. Would struggle to catch any sleep.

As you can imagine, this has done wonders for my mood, brain fog and cognition, hence me saying semax and selank might not need to be repurchased. I'll continue with the kit and see.

Interesting. At what time did you inject the 10 mg doses? Did you split it to morning and evening?

I'm on 500mcg of each injected but I front loaded the doses. Did 1mg each for 10 days then tapered down. They both worked great. More subtle than many peps though. As I said, you can feel it more if you had an actual issue.

I'm considering trying this as an in between cycles pick me up if I have issues with sleep or feel out of balance.

Probably my favourite pep. It was THAT good.

I have had really good experience with epithalon as well. I also use DSIP and Selank and the stack seems to work really good.
