hard work is great nutrition is the key

to the young guy its great to see young people in general interested in working out i know too many who r on recreational drugs.I started young and then got out of it.If u catch the fever try not to lose itI was 230 my senior yr in hs and was benchin 435 naturally.I got 315 the first time when I was 15 yrs old about a year after i started lifting. If i could just be as seriuos and dedicated now as I was then and never took a 4 yr break I can only imagine where i would be now.you can do it naturally youing buck.Just work hard and eat your parents out of house and home lol Props to ya kid. I f u have and questions pm me.If I don't know the answer I'll help you find it.Good luck bro

Well in HS i was 160 my junior year and blew up to almost 195 my seniour year. Thats when i really got into the weights. Bench was 265 i think. Squat was close to 500. PowerClean I really dont remember. been way to long. I wanna say about 275-300 I know i never had 3 plates on each side so it was less than 315.

Man, the numbers that some on this board put up are amazing. It seesm like everyone here can post a 500lb. bench and a 600lb. squat. Clean and pressing over 300 for reps? Man, that's big. The internet definately has some heavy hitters.

shit my little sister can lift that.

Well I would post mine but I feel like a total pussy compared to many of y'all :( I guess its back to the drawing board- and the weight room.

Height: 5'9

Age: 22

Weight: 177lbs

Bench Press: 300

Squat: 575

Deadlift: 425 (no wraps)

Clean: 230

Years Training: 5

been so long since ive been active on this forum that i dont know many of the people on here, but ive been watching it and posting once in a while again, and will probably become more active... so here goes although it seems to me ive posted this before, probably years ago on here.

size at peak strength, 6'2" and about 365lbs.

best lifts:

stiff legged deadlift for reps, 700lbs, also did romanian deadlifts with over 700lbs for sets of 5.

best competition deadlift in powerlifting, 707lbs, done at young age and about 300lbs, when i wasnt close to my best strength level.

best competition bench press, 512lbs, done at young age and about 290lbs, again, when i wasnt near my best strength level, i tore a pec after that and couldnt ever do benches when i was strong.

best military press, 390lbs. several times i feel i could have done 400, but when i was really ready to do it, it wasnt in my training plan to go heavy on military. looking back i wish i would have said screw it and just did the 400 so i could say i did.

best push press (cheating military for those who dont know what a push press is, you use leg drive at the beginning to help get the weight going) 440lbs for 1 rep and 402lbs for 3 reps.

best bent over rows, done very strict, with back not rising from a position of parrallel to ground, 365lbs for 10, 405lbs for 5, and 425lbs for 3 reps.

best squats done when young and around 290lbs and competing in powerlifting... 813 in competition, 770 for 3 reps with just a belt, and a bit over 800 on a box below parrallel with just a belt. also 505lbs for 20 reps wearing only a belt.

best squats done when older and 350+lbs and strong, 606lbs for a set of 10 done easily with no belt, olympic style with close stance and butt to ground. 601lbs done rigert style, with a 2 second pause at rock bottom, then standing up fast enough to throw bar off shoulders, over head, and land on ground in front of me. several instances of ssquats in high 700's or 800 done with either no belt or with just a thin OLing belt, done very easily and not near maximum. again, like with the military, when i was strong i wasnt really interested in maxing the squat, so i n3ver did.

best clean, 463lbs, a weight im sure i could have beaten, but i couldnt jerk for shit so i never really pushed the clean to the best of my ability becasue without the ability to jerk it, it really didnt matter.

best snatch, 374lbs done in training in 2002 i believe.

years training, about 20, years training effectively, about 15.

Ya know why fellas never make eye contact with stacked ladies?

Cause Hooters dont have eye balls!
Bahaaaa! Sorry couldnt resist!!

As far as Maxes go... dont have any... back wont allow me to find out.

265# bench 350 x 10(i lift at home and 350 is all the # i have)
34yrs squat 350 x 15+
deadlift 350 may reps
power clean around around275-300
i just got back into lifting again about 9 months ago and finished 3 month cycle around 1 1/2months ago so these # should be lower now. i was away from training for about 3-4 yrs because i worked in a steel mill and i was forced into doing double shifts almost every day. then in october of 2003 1500 of us were laid off for good. so now i have been hitting it hard again.

you know when guys talk to a girl and she has big tits our eyes always look down, well when i talk to girls their eyes always look down to my chest. pretty good feeling. sorry fina had to tell a story too

years working out: about 5 now but only the past year i have tried to get a little more serious.

My first post here, and gotta say there are some real impressive numbers here.

I've been training for very little over a year now and have avoided any anabolic supplements so far. I train 5 days a week in a pretty hardcore gym with seperate cardio and boxing rooms. I do as much cardio as possible also as I think 180 would be an ideal weight for me to actually build on (still got a little gut going heh). I'm in the UK so I'm putting the KGs in brackets. I'm very proud of myself and what I've achieved in a year to be honest - when I started I sturggled with a 50kg bench and I was really fat also. But in a year I've managed to keep a similar weight whilst obviously losing the fat. So I do think I have reason to be proud. :)

Hopefully I'll stick around these forums for a while. Looking around it, it looks damn good and a lot of things worth reading.

Age: 16
Bodyweight: 187lbs (13st)
Height: 5'7/8
Years lifting: 1 year
Bodyfat %: 10.7%

Bench: 265 (120kg)
Squat: 397 (180kg)
Deadlift: 375 (170kg)

age: 38

height: 5'11"

weight: 217lbs

i don't max out. never tried to. the lowest i go is 5 or 6 reps. period.

squats: 315x5

deadlifts: 325x5

incline press: 245X6

barbell rows: 225x10

btw, is there a way to estimate my single rep max from these numbers? thanks.

We all know you are one big strong dude. Hopefully you can find the time to post on here more often. Take care
